Here are my findings after brief experimentation. So long as I open the ReShade config menu at least once while in actual gameplay (it doesn't activate in menus)---I have yet to have a crash to desktop at alt-x.

Interested to learn if others' experimentation might find the same.

This is pretty positive news. I presume the program is this one?

Free open source apparently. I'm definitely interested in hearing how win10 users make out
with this. Thanks.

On the website I only got 4.3 - and when I install that to the bob.exe, the game doesn't start at all.

I got from manashttu's post that he just installed it - do you have to configure something after installing it?

Searched for a 3.1.0 DL on Google without success. Will keep looking.

Sounds promising, but I'm reluctant to try this for fear of breaking my BoB2 Win 7 install, especially mid-campaign. At least until we know what went wrong for Eisenfaust. Anyway I've posted a link over at SimHQ, so hopefully we'll get some more testing happening from people currently suing Win 10. About everything cross-able is crossed, here!

My optimism went the way of many hopes for Windows 10 and BoBII---though it worked several times in a row without an alt-x crash with Reshade installed, the remission was short-lived and the alt-x crashing came back. It is still rather random.

I did use an extra SSD I had to setup a dual boot Windows 7 alongside my Windows 10 main installation. BoB2 worked beautifully in Win7. A word to the wise: if you do try to dual boot with Windows 10---be sure to disable Faststart in the power management settings. It apparently can foul up a Win10 install if another OS writes to the Win10 drive after a shutdown with Faststart enabled. I just learned this. Silver lining is I'll be able to test BoB2 on a fresh install of Win10 1903.

Would someone be kind enough to provide or point me in the direction of the download link for 2.13. When I click the above download link a message indicates it is no longer there.

Thanks and Kind Regards,
C

Hi!

Fred901 kindly posted this Mediafire link not long back when I had the same problem after losing my original download; still works:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/ocy9h2hjn ... 13.7z/file

I think the mods here were planning to re-instate it and post a fresh link on the original 2.13 thread.

For a while, I had moderator power here, but since the new version of the forum software was put in (a year ago, was it, or two?)
those extra clickable bits disappeared for me, so I seem to be back as just another member. Nothing I can do about this now.

I sent Lewis a PM a year ago about this, and he said he'd fix it. I have been sort of busy and hadn't thought about it since,
so I never really noticed it hadn't been dealt with.

Hi All,

I recently bought bob2.

Quick question: Where can I obtain the latest patches?

The current links indicate that the server is down.

Thanks.

The 2.12 patch is available at 'The Patches Scrolls', if that's any help.

Hello gentlemen,

Apologies on the broken link. This was a file missed in a recent server transfer. The file has been restored. If you encounter any other issues, just let us know. :)
