btw, I got hold of Oblivion after you commented on it on one of the forums. Wow. Very atmospheric. The perfect antidote to battling in the skies. It'll take about a year to finish it at the current (slow) rate though..

I have ammassed about 40Hrs ingame and I am still at the beginning. SCary stuff, at this rate I will be old and grey before I finish the bloody thing. Its great fun though

Yes indeed. The environments are gorgeous. When you look at how good aircraft look in the best flight sims and how towns and forests look in RPGs, it is all very encouraging, I would say.

It's an RPG.. (role playing game).. not a sim, I'm afraid.
