Question about main and options screens

Post by redband_151 »

I'm running a 2560 x 1440 27" monitor. My loading screen and the operations map all fill out the entire screen like you would expect, however the main and option screens have a black bar on either side of the graphics.
I tried enlarging the main screen from 125 x768 to my resolution but, it enlarges the actual graphic and the bars are still there. One thing that I noticed as well is the mouse pointer is abnormally large in these screens.
Any ideas on why this is happening? Is this a incorrect setting on my part?

Not sure. The non-3D screens all seem to function quite
happily on my machine at 1080x1920, no black bars, so
the sim copes with 9x16 without problems. Of course you
must always set "Use desktop resolution?" to OFF for
things to work properly, as that is broken for 9x16.
