They are all 1/48th scale. I have the Memphis Belle with a P47 sitting right next to me. It's amazing looking at these aircraft next to each other.
They are very heavy. My favorite thing to do when someone new is over is to ask them to put their hands out and place the B17 in their hands. Their eyes go wide when they feel the weight.
I don't know why I've never really noticed models before, but there is no going back now.
Scott.

Hi,
The photos of the models look very nice. What are the props and guns and tires made of? Here in Australia shops sell die cast models from "Franklin Mint" But some of them have problems where the arials and gauns etc a made from plastic and they bend and twist up after a short while. They have very soft tires as well, and these tires flaten out with the weight of the models and pop off, and of course no spares are available from Franklin Mint.
I can see why the thin bits have to be made from plastic, but the plastic needs to be better than the franklin mint stuff.
But as Scott says die cast modles look very nice.
Cheers MarkL

Going by the "packing" vidoe, they are the "Franklin Min t Armour Collection". I have a F86 Sabre, and it does have rubber tyres. I'd also concur that these models are surprisingly solid and heavy, in fact, the Sabre is tail-heavy, and needs a fair blob of blu-tack in the front undercarriage well to keep it level.
