2. Me109 fighter consolidation.

A few posts above, http://www.a2asimulations.com/forum/vie ... 15#p267306
two27 explained how his Me109 fighter consolidation code works, and why it is not an ideal solution to an original Rowan problem, as to history,
but it is a better solution.
I complained above, "Randy, you better not consolidate my JG27/III boys from Carquebut on the Cotentin peninsula. I need them."
"Well, keep your JG51 Gruppen all up to at least 36 aircraft. If a Gruppe falls below 36 aircraft, then a Luftflotte 3 Emil Gruppe will be reinforcing it in consolidation.
Wait for aircraft replacements from Production to build up JG51, and stop abusing them."
"Oh!, OK! I'll try to keep better care of my early front line JG51 men."

Now I am on 31 July and I still have my Veteran Carquebut boys with 57 aircraft, and got all the Calais Emil Regular or Veteran Gruppen with 55 aircraft.
Morale is Very Good or Excellent.
I am not now complaining about Emil Gruppe consolidation. The RAF may not like it much, though. :P

Of course I ain't making stupid bombing strategy like the 1940 German Nazis did in 1940, or the stupid Americans did over North Viet Nam in the 1960'-70's!

1st, I attack and destroy all of the Spitfire and Hurricane Assembly factories. Flatten them all down to dust & debris! 100% destroyed.
Done! Assemble your Spitfires up at Castle Bromwich and your Hurricanes up north and Dispersed, out of my escorted bomber reach.

2nd. I attack all of the Spitfire and Hurricane Parts Factories.
90% done.

3rd, I attacked the Armaments Factories.
50% done, and I will never destroy Farnborough R.A.E. which I built not as a "factory" making .303 machine guns for aircraft,
but as THE HOME OF THE ROYAL ARMY!
Farnborough R.A.E. (Royal. Army. Encampment.) produces Infantry men. Arguably, the BEST riflemen in the world during 1940.
They are certainly training hard, as if their lives, and their mother's lives depend upon it!
I made Farnborough R.A.E. with 63 target objects!!, laid out historical. Hard for the LW bombers to subdue the Royal Army! :P
I bombed it 3 times, after 23 July (unopposed by RAF interceptors) and and only reduced it by 20%.
I'll be back! From a different bomb lay direction. Then .. again.. trying bomb Royal Army Infantry Training Grounds is like pissing into the wind!
So.. since I made Farnborough R.A.E. with so many objects, that is one Target that you Ultra-Right-Wing Nazi Bastards cannot destroy1 :P

Image

These are the 63 REAL individual targets that I made for Farnborough R.A.E. The target with the yellow dot is the CENTRAL bomb drop target.
For "factories" I always assign the TOP OF THE LIST main central target
to be a target in the heart's core of the overall TARGET. Yellow dot!
My goddamned LW level bombers always have a bad tendency of over-shooting bomb lays on the (my) ordered bomb release POINTS.
Ach! I'll have to come back!

Image

This with extra ObjectAdds that are not real damageable targets.
Image

US Americans have a healthy respect for British infantrymen!
Even though this sign is not very pretty.. considering all of the men that trained here in how many? wars.

Hello Stickman, I found your simulation of the bombing attack on the Supermarine factories in Southampton when looking for aerial photos of the site. As chair of the Southampton based Spitfire Makers Charitable Trust I give talks to local groups about the bombing and subsequent dispersal of production around Southampton and beyond. We're aiming to place memorial plaques at the sites of all these Supermarine facilities to commemorate the vital work that was done there.
I'm not familiar with the world of flight simulation but from one or two of the screenshots of what you have been working on it looks like they would be a brilliant way to illustrate the way the attacks happened. I don't want to use anything without permission so if this might be possible or you are interested in our research, please contact us via our website, spitfiremakers.org.uk Many thanks.

Hi.
I’m afraid that Jeff (aka Stickman) has not been active on the forum for what must be nearly a year.
You might try sending him a personal message but I can’t say whether Jeff is monitoring these.
Good luck in your endeavours to help preserve our history and heritage.
