This stuff reminds of 2 years ago when I was looking at 1941 Burma airfields, with help from some experts.
Lots of arguing, me and a Japanese co-researcher, with the REAL experts.
We made final decisions, and changed some minds.
Altogether, WE found all where they were exactly and the proper layouts, except Loiwing.
I challenge anyone to find the 1941 Loiwing Airfield (China). The first one built by CAMCO.
Within 100 meters, as this one is the only 1941 Burma airfield that I cannot be absolutely sure of
EXACTLY as to precise location within 20 meters, or how long the strip was. For fighters, probably dirt, maybe gravel.
Layout must be East - West, because I know what valley it was in.
Is it in there?
Re: Is it in there?
Well it's been fun doing this just to take a break, I did manage to find Corfe Castle (just the land feature like Maiden Castle as I was told), but my search continues for the Long Man of Wilimington, I'm begining to suspect he's not in there Bader is this the George the III fellow you were talking about?
