RAF campaign tutorial video: setting up your patrols

Post by heinkill »

This video is for Battle of Britain II gamers, who want help setting up patrols in the Commander level RAF campaign game using the map plotting screen.

Only the 2D map plotting screen is shown, not the transition to dogfighting in this tutorial.

Score at end of phase? 5 He111s, 15 Ju87s and 5 109s destroyed for the loss of 5 RAF.

See how:

I can 'sticky' the thread if Heinkill wants to make a single post with all the links.

:) I have just watched the first few minutes of the video and i have to say that you can learn so much from watching compared to just reading ,combining the both would be brilliant. :)
One thing i would ask is would it be possible to slow down or pause between the separate mouse clicks, sometimes the mouse is so quick you have to pause to take in the information.
You really must also watch it full screen as well to get the details.
Brilliant though Heinkill and it really must be kept as part of the library of knowledge. :D :D

It would be super if some of our players actually got serious about the BOBII Commander Campaign and they actually won either a LUF, RAF, or both.

Be sure and post your winning screen if you take up the challenge,

I've got a couple more tutorials to complete then we can sticky them. I think other users have made some takeoff and landing tutorials too.

Yes, good idea.
