Week ago my wife pulled a dust covered DVD from her side of DVD shelf and handed it over to me; a free cover DVD from October 2007 'Aeroplane' magazine, I had already forgotten it and gladly put it into drive immediately. It is about Battle of Britain and specifically 501 Squadron with authentic material and interviews.

Yes,it is a sad day,he was a brave man,reading his story,he was also a great pilot.
The few are getting fewer,and i think people have forgotten how much we owe to those brave pilots who gave us our freedom.

:) I know it is a sad day BUT we all have to go sometime and if he died peacefully and with people he loved - -wonderful.
What a fantastic life to look back on,probably not so nice at the time at times though.
