Re: RIP Ken Mackenzie DFC
Week ago my wife pulled a dust covered DVD from her side of DVD shelf and handed it over to me; a free cover DVD from October 2007 'Aeroplane' magazine, I had already forgotten it and gladly put it into drive immediately. It is about Battle of Britain and specifically 501 Squadron with authentic material and interviews.
RIP and clear skies.

Yes,it is a sad day,he was a brave man,reading his story,he was also a great pilot.
The few are getting fewer, and i think people have forgotten how much we owe to those brave pilots who gave us our freedom.
R.I.P my friend.

I watched that interview just a month ago. What a shame.BoxMike wrote:Week ago my wife pulled a dust covered DVD from her side of DVD shelf and handed it over to me; a free cover DVD from October 2007 'Aeroplane' magazine, I had already forgotten it and gladly put it into drive immediately. Rest in Peace.
"Ah yes, Michael (Parkinson)," Bader replied, "But these particular Fockers were Messerschmitts..."
