There are damage files.

What Bader was saying is that,
if looking from shooter to the damaged target
then you will not see detailed bullet holes
or fabric shreds hanging about in the case of the Hurricane
or Space Shuttles. :wink:

You WILL notice that the AI target acts damaged.

If you find that You become damaged, and go to external view,
then you see somewhat cheesy bullet holes,
and not realistic "perfect" damage. :roll:
If You get damaged, you might think about bailing out,
and not what the bullet and kanonen holes look like.

That said, the old bullet hole textures were less than OK.
I thought.. Should they be .303 bullet holes, or 20mm holes?
Only one texture available to show bullet damage.
I made a smaller .303 bullet hole mod
as it seems only RAF players use the sim. :wink:
But bullet holes looked at in unrealistic external view seemed
not very important to me. Put that one on the back burner.

There are many more important things that I wanted modified first.

Yes.
Making it easy for users to modify the game is essential to make the
simulation survive, and attract artists.
