Super work by Ben and Simon for bringing these to life. Really lovely stuff.

No DM yet, so not much good for Jerry flyers. But for me, as a Brit, bloody marvellous.

An' the doors gotta open, an' the gear lever move, an' we can race 'em down to Brighton... Geez. Ain't we merciless?

...more seriously, now we have shadows, we must be able to put one under Brighton Pier as well, right? I'd like to take some new screenshots of that.

By the way, I guess it's far too much to hope that the shadows know where the sun is, right?

Very beautiful vehicles, by the way. So where is the updated London Bus? I have a huge mass of reference material I collected when I did the repaint on the current model, if you need it.

No, these won't have moving suspension, waving grass and self shadowing. This is a Flight Sim afterall.

If you have 50 objects with all those details it'll cripple your PC. There is absolutely no framerate hit from these objects and that's a real testament to efficient use of details by Ben. It takes a good eye and experience to make good models. But it takes a lot more of both to make them so they actually run in-game without killing framerates.

You didn't answer the question about Brighton Pier.

Simon would need to add a shadow to that. If he has the source.. not sure.

You alrteady have in BoB2 :). In the default take off mission, taxi or rove to the right, slightly back to come to a Blenheim under a camouflage net. However this is still Rowan stuff, made for '486 and very low poly.

At the second screen shot I see the tree obscures the clouds. My version of the game (2.07) shows the opposite thing: the cloud obscures the tree.

What version of the game did you use to make your screenshots?

Excellent textures on those models. Really good job.
Looking forward to having these on my airfields.

I agree. The textures are top notch. They are progressing very nicely. Super job by Ben, converted in-game by Simon.

A few more from my bulging hard drive.
