Re: Xplane Version 12

I'd LOVE to see A2A be simulator agnostic. It would benefit the whole community, and the various sims have their strengths and weaknesses. I prefer the strengths of X-Plane, while recognizing that MSFS is really excellent too.

Re: we need a decent piston engine in MSFS!!!

Dear community and devs, after watching my first videos of the An-2 and DHC-4 Caribou I am heartbroken. The startups are sooo canned, lifeless and easy. Much of the thrill of operating such a brute gets lost here....So thrilled about A2A actually running a thing separate to the limiting MSFS enviro...

Re: we need a decent piston engine in MSFS!!!

That is lovely! One of the main reasons I became a fulltime A2A-pilot back in the day was that very problem. It drove me nuts to have the RPM-sound be correlated to MP. Intense postings on Lockheed Martin's forum didn't make them understand it, either, replying to me as if I were a crank that had no...

Re: Comanche Update

Hello Dudley. Could you give a new update on how beta testing is progressing with the flight model? I am especially interested in the ground physics. The team is hard at work in the Beta as we speak, and yes, the ground physics are an important part of this. In fact, as of yesterday they are deeply...

Re: Captain Jake

Hey Captain Jake,

Congratulations! That is simply, and forgive my pun, Phenom-enal!

Don't forget your roots, though - go handfly a GA plane (preferably a taildragger), keeping the stick and rudder skills active.

Yours, in awe,

Re: Accu-Sim Comanche 250 for MSFS is in beta testing

Oh, my! This is excellent news. I'm sure you'll firmly establish yourselves back on top in the MSFS-universe. And while I've long since become a hardcore X-Plane user, I'll buy everything you make for MSFS and fly the heck out of it. Hope all the beta-testers are enjoying this special and history ma...

Re: We need something new in the name for Accu-Sim

We have referred to the newly created physics engine in house as "Merlin." Maybe "Accu-Sim II, Powered by Merlin". Merlin Aerodynamics, Merlin AI, etc. As I detailed in my long post earlier, names are great, but careful consideration needs to be made. What, then, happens when Ac...

Re: We need something new in the name for Accu-Sim

Given that you want to keep the name Accu-Sim, I think it's wise to make the addon-part incremental. If you were to go "Accu-Sim NG" for example, while not terrible, you'd be faced with the problem again down the road if/when Accu-Sim needs another change to reflect a major change. We've a...

Re: Please consider developing for X-Plane 12 and beyond.

Our new Accu-Sim system is now 100% independent and computes frame by frame within the host platform. We support Laminar and want them to succeed in the post MSFS era. Since the new Accu-Sim tech driving the Comanche is independent of the host platform (MSFS, Xplane, etc.), it's now a realistic pla...

Re: We have never been good about talking about projects in development

Dear Scott, I'm really happy to hear from you, and hope that you all have much fun developing the future of A2A Simulations! At the same time, I hope you give X-Plane 12 a good and long look, as it's shaping up to be a fantastic simulator too. Accusim being simulator agnostic would be perfection... ...

Re: SAMSUNG 49 inch Gaming, Ultra-wide Curved Monitor

I have the Samsung Odyssey G9 49 inch monitor, and have had it since the release. I love it... There were some early problems with some of them - mostly fixed with firmware updates, and in a few instances I heard of, replacement monitors. Apart from that they seem to be fine. They do require a prett...

Re: Accu-Sim Comanche 250 Cockpit Screenshots

Aahhh! What a lovely cockpit. I've, as have you all, spent so much quality time in this plane. I feel like home! Keep it up, and know that even after MSFS have been on the market for about 2 years, no-one has yet filled the space that A2A can occupy. The throne has been vacant, and it has your name ...

Re: The Comanche is going to be wonderful

This is excellent news, Scott! I hope you don't feel rushed to make compromises because others are quicker to pump out products into MSFS. The reason I am simming is because of A2A, being the one very different company, that slowly oozed out perfection. I trust you to take your time to make it the b...
