Re: Bonanza yellow arc on fuel gauges
Actually, the issue has to do with the possibility that the fuel line will unport during takeoff, especially if you make a rolling turn onto the active.

Re: ASN and Bonanza
For what its worth, it would take a gale, maybe a hurricane, to make the T6 or Bonanza prop spin even with all the plugs out.

Strange takeoff behavior
So far, I have been unable to make a single takeoff that wasn't heart-stopping. I've put up with it assuming I needed some axis tuning but despite my best tweaking efforts no joy. The problem occurs just as the aircraft breaks ground. My method, assuming no crosswind, is to rotate slightly at about ...

Re: V35 Bonanza excessive tail wag
Huh, first time I've ever heard it said that people can't ride in the back seat of a Bonanza very long. Eager puppy tail wag is a part the aircraft's personality but hardly one of it's most distinguishing characteristics such as speed, space, and quality. Not sure why this is such an issue here. I'v...

Re: Information about the prop heat?
Take a look at Sim Physics X (or P3D). I've been flying with it for a couple years and it adds a nice degree of realism. (I don't use any of the other features in the package preferring PrecipitFX for rain and snow textures and, of course Accu-Sim.

Yup, there's a bungee interconnect to make a coordinated turn easier.

Re: Engine Noise
I didn't notice any change in low rumble, just for the record. I'm perplexed by this whole audio thing. Lots of differences in opinion about cockpit sounds, exterior sounds, now even headphone sounds. I wonder what accounts for it? Different people have different sounds cards, drivers, headsets/spea...

Re: Frame rate dropping
Try using Process Monitor in Task manager and see if anything goes nuts when your frame-rate drops? Or try the more capable and also free from Microsoft Process Explorer?

Re: Out of memory error (SOLVED)
Reinstalled for a different problem, and used SceneryConfigEditor to turn off all the Oceania and Europe scenery. OOM hasn't reoccured. Not sure which solved the problem, but suspect it was the reinstall because I've never had OOM crash until I started fly8ing this bird (even with PMDG aircraft). Pr...

Re: Engine Noise
Oops missed that slider. It solved the problem.
Tried headphones, but they don't change the volume much, just reduce some of the high freq noise.
Thanks!

Re: Out of memory error
Yeah, I have P3D, but moving means I have to repurchase most of my paid add-ons.
So I live with FSX and use DX10
