Re: aircraft engine stall when IDLE on ground
I was taught since day one of private pilot training in 1977, that we do not want to idle airplane engines at the idle stop, in order to avoid plug fouling. Minimum idle speed for me, whether Piper Cherokees, C172s, light twins, etc. or the Harvard (T-6) is always ideally 700-800 rpm. I never lean t...

Re: Huge amount of water in my fuel this morning
Hhhmmmmm...so you're saying there are actually good reasons for doing a complete walkaround on every flight with an Accusim airplane??
Who knew...??!!!???

Re: GNS750 Course Line Question
Sounds good, I might give it a try at some point. :) I think business jets and commuters make good sim planes, for the very reason you can fit them in places and I don't like pointlessly staring at the gauges for hours in cruise. (In Accu-Sim there of course is some point in staring at the gauges, ...

Re: GNS750 Course Line Question
Loved Collins. I was weaned on the FD109. That Howard Johnson's roof usually made me hungry for one of their burgers after landing wherever it was we were going. Dudley Yep me too, although our Jet Commander only had the FD108 and come to think about it, I think Kelowna Flightcraft's B727s were FD1...

Re: GNS750 Course Line Question
I suppose this means it is good? :) I've been looking for a good corporate / commuter since forever. -Esa It must be...my first flight in the Lear was on January 9th and as of last night, I've logged 96.5 hours in it. The majority of my RW flight time was in early gen business jets during...

That sounds like a pretty reasonable guess Sir!Ron Attwood wrote: ↑20 Feb 2024, 11:29 I'm guessing Pitt Meadows, BC (CYPK) at least he made a flight from there on 12th January.

Re: Finished Community Repaints
I'm not sure...what I meant was will the registrations be customizable, as they are on the A2A default skins or not...original registrations only. I was pretty sure you also wouldn't do fictional repaints. I'm basing that on your answer to me one time for a custom registration on one of your liverie...

Re: GNS750 Course Line Question
The other, somewhat related, question here is one of how well our little S-TEC 30 keeps the CDI centred, and even in turbulent weather over the mountains of northern Portugal, it was doing a pretty good job for me in TRK HI mode. Not sure it's entirely fair to compare it with the AFCS of a Learjet ...

Re: Finished Community Repaints
This 1985 Comanche was re-registered as C-GJTL in 2013 and move north to Vancouver BC. It's new livery follows a little later, Looks awesome Ron and I’m looking forward to seeing the Canadian version! With your MO in mind, I’m assuming the liveries will both be non-dynamic registrations? Cheers, Rob
