Re: Piper Seminole Flight
To me it's all about when engine quit. Level flight, cruise climb or descent is ok. Right after performance take off is a roll of dice really. Margin is very thin.

Re: Piper Seminole Flight
Twins aren't just about flying over water, they're about redundancy and are stronger / safer IFR platforms in the right hands. I know statistically twins can have a worse record than a single, but this is almost entirely due to poor piloting after losing an engine. This is where a proper home simul...

Re: My A2A Planes fly terrible in prepar 3D v3
So far I tried 182 and Comanche in V3. I got new Saitek X52 and it still feels too much elevator authority at low speeds in 182. New controls, new sim - old problems. Not sure what else can be done

Re: Piper Seminole Flight
PA44 is underpowered and ok trainer for multi students. Since most Duchess running out of parts it's one of not many low cost option for training. Other than training and flying over water it's absolutely useless IMHO. Aerostar that Scott is rebuilding wold be a much better A2A addition. But hey mul...

Re: Oversensitive pitch control
Ok, I asked Scott how he lands his Comanche he hasn't replied yet. I think airplane is modeled based on his perception. I appreciate help of people who try to convey how to fly real airplane. I'm aware of that! I'm aircraft owner and flight instructor. I also got a chance to fly Comanche during a fe...

Re: Oversensitive pitch control
My 182 is nose heavy due to narrow gear base vs body. It's not the same model though with accusim one. Unless I carry back seat passengers I have to really pull back and trim during round. Scott, I have question to you. Do you carry some power in your Comanche to the touch down or chop the throttle ...

Re: Oversensitive pitch control
Thanks Emi I'm aware of this, but I don't think this is a problem in my case. I only have a problem during slow flight such as rounding out /flare

Re: Oversensitive pitch control
Haven't change my control setting, but perhaps something might went wrong. Where would I check ? FSUPIC perhaps ?

Oversensitive pitch control
I'm not sure why, but I'm having a problem with Cessna 182T and now with Comanche. At low speed mostly during the flare my Saitek X45 is oversensitive. Adjusting setting in "yoke force doesn't really solve the problem. I'm using P3D V.2.5 with all latest hotfixes. Does anyone has solution for t...

Re: HSI reversed?
Once HSI went spinning on me during ILS approach in IMC. I just used compass and standby ILS frequency on NAV2 ( learnt from my early CFII). I did the same thing in A2A Comanche - talking about real life experience helping virtual world LOL

Re: HSI reversed?
Ok I knew that is something fishy here. I have never seen HSI like that (unless intentionally unslaved ) 'Intentionally unslaved' is right sdflyer. See here for more info: http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=124&t=47501#p361252. Cheers, Nick Let's wait until Scott upgrade his HSI to...
