Maybe this here helps. It seems to be cut just after the gear bay.
Seems indeed the best estimate, made it now like this:

Still investigating how to get the silver-metalic paint look.

Dutch V35B -> N888DB / PH-NFF

Hiya, Was wondering if any painter was already begun on the N888DB? The only V35B stationed in the Netherlands at the moment. If not, like to begin on this repaint (probably do the old and new paint-scheme). Also does anyone have pictures of the only V-tail on Dutch register? The "PH-NFF",...

Re: Support for UK 8.33kHz frequency change

Hi, Here in the UK, many airfields have switched to 8.33khz frequncies. Just wondering if there are any radio updates for radios and GPS yet? As long the internal handling inside FSX/P3D is not changed, updates can not be done. Internal in the scenery and Flightsim engine there is no support for 8.3...

How to, do a prop control on warm-up??

Hiya, From the "how to FLYING THE SPITFIRE: Flying a Circuit topic": Throttle to 2,200 r.p.m., magnetos individually checked, drop of no more than 160 r.p.m., Propeller to COARSE PITCH- check for r.p.m. drop, then up to 2,400 r.p.m., close throttle slightly, check that r.p.m. remains at 2,...

Re: Civilian mustang, why no ground power unit.

Hi, You start a Mustang in idle cutoff. Perhaps this is the problem. DH What is the best procedure? mixture in idle cutoff is mentioned in the manual and checklist. I aks, because i've also still problems starting the P-51D civil, though i knew how via the topic: http://shockwaveproductions.com/foru...

Re: Rudder Pedals for a Handicap Sim Pilot

Hi, I have been thinking about this for quite a while. I have been flying on the sim since 2006 and I taught myself how to fly. I finally started flight school in late 2014. I have the rudders bound to buttons on the yoke. However every since I started flying the T-6 and P-51, I find it hard to keep...

Re: Any chance for an upgraded beacon?

Hi Nick,

Thanks, good to know it's so easy. Always thought it was part of the 3D model and not a effect. (Show how good the effect is/was).

Re: old pain starting up the civilian P-51 Mustang

Hiya Guys, Thanks for all the advise, think i found the problem in my case -> the 4 seconds prime before engine start, seems to flood the engine. If i use "Tomas Linnet" method, so magneto's already engaged, then starting the engine, then start priming, when engine fires, mixture to run......

Re: old pain starting up the civilian P-51 Mustang

Hi, I’m afraid that is good news.....then it must be a problem with the way you are trying to start the engine :wink: For how longtime do you prime? And what ambient temperature du you have? Do you have fuel pressure before priming? Was afraid of that answer :oops: :roll: Prime = 4 seconds Am...
