Re: I want a new crew!

"Common give me a break, my landings are perfect, most of the time, ok some of the time, ok one was once." Boy, does this sound far too familiar! Just like my "perfect" landings. I had them say "Captain, you should practice some touch & goes before we fly with you again...

Re: Carenado King Air C90 Right Engine Torque Fluctuation

Unfortunately the service pack did nothing to fix this issue. This sharp increase in right prop torque happened before and after the service pack with Accu-Feel enabled. But like I said, when it's off, I do (and did) not have this problem at all. Well, at least your C90 is up to date. :D Perhaps th...

Re: Carenado King Air C90 Right Engine Torque Fluctuation

Jonathan, I do not have this aircraft but I saw that there is a newly released Service Pack for it. The description mentions fixes for the right engine but I have no idea if it will fix your specific issue but it may be worth installing the SP. Re: manual

Click on: Start, All Programs, A2A Simulations, Piper Cub (or what name of the Cub may be in that folder), and within that folder are the manuals for the aircraft and Accu-Sim, if you have Accu-Sim installed.
Happy flying!

Re: C-97 Landing Dodgeville,WI

Well, the good news is that it never did become a coffee shop and it is still there to this day! It appears from the Don Q Inn website that there are tours of the aircraft on weekends. If you look on Google Earth for Dodgeville,WI and then go north of the city a couple of miles, you can see the airp...

C-97 Landing Dodgeville,WI

I don't have the 377 in my hangar ...... at this time, but thought you 377 Stratocruiser pilots would find this short field landing interesting. I lived about 30 miles from where this took place and recall that there was a lot of conversation concerning landing the C-97 on a 2800' airfield. Took a l...

Re: B-17 Installing

Flights are in real time unless you choose to use "Slew Mode" on a long flight. I am of no help on this mode as I have never used it as I simply enjoy flying in real time. I'm sure someone here will chime in and give you a hand on this option.
Have fun!

Re: B-17 Installing

I just have one more question, when you take off and flying, how do you know which airport to land at. Like take off in St.Louis and land in Chicago. You can choose any airport of your choice to depart or land. If you create a flight plan,it will give you a map or if you choose a close airport, you...

Re: B-17 Installing

OK, now that you have FSX installed, let's see if we can't get you flying. You state that you are new to Flight simulator so please don't take offense if I get too simple in my explanations. Have you actually opened FSX from your desktop shortcut and flown any flight? If the answer is Yes, then lets...

Re: B-17 Installing

Devlyn, here is a link that will help you install your new FSX Gold. http://www.simforums.com/forums/topic29041.html Only the first part should be all you need to follow. Come on back after you get your copy of FSX and we, the community here, should be able to get you going.
Good luck!

Re: B-17 Installing

Yes, FSX Gold will work well. It includes Acceleration that includes SP1 & SP2 so you do not need to install these service packs. After FSX and Acceleration are installed, then you will be able to install the A2A B-17 and then B-17 Accu-Sim. You will then need this update: http://a2asimulations....

Re: B-17 Installing

Where is your FSX installed? You need to know the location so that you can point the registry repair tool to the correct location. Also if you are running Vista or Win7, right click on the registry repair.exe and click on "Run as administrator". I had the same problem when I first went to ...

Re: Had to take the old girl up

Great pictures! I have my "Baby" inflight on a flight from Ellsworth vectored to Sioux Falls, KMSP to KGRP and then to KMSN. I'll have to land in Madison to refuel and listen to my crew grumble about the landing! One landing they had the audacity to suggest that I practice a few touch and ...

Re: Microsoft Flight due at end of this month (Feb 29,2012)

You do not have to buy a new copy. It happens quite often that people buy new computers and install FSX on it. IF the activation fails, you can contact Microsoft and they will reset your activations. Check this thread on Flightsim.com - it has instructions on contacting Microsoft by telephone. There...
