As far as I know it was always built for a windows environment, building on the Mig Alley game. I thnk the last Rowan game designed for DOS was Overlord. Although I could be wrong.

The terrain elevation is part of the terrain itself. Lovely music, very atmospheric. MSFS2004 with active camera and TrackIR is a wonderful thing isn't it.
The ending was nice with those flybys. Were those real DB601 sounds? Gave me goosbumps<brrrrr>
