Re: Reality xp gtn 750 for Comanche, Cherokee, C182 and C172

Hi Folks, Seems as if RXP is gaining in popularity - it’s my gauge of choice as well - hopefully they get incorporated at some point... Just recently noticed that RXP added a couple of new gauges to the pack - one is the Mid Continent GPS remote annunciator - if your IFR GPS is more than 13.5...

Using real world experience to troubleshoot Accu-Sim

Hi Scott, LOL - I hope you’re not messing around with those old original starters - put a Sky-Tec on them and be done with it - when I upgraded mine - it throws the prop so fast I could taxi around the airport on it and sounds like I should be looking for 20% of N2... I swear I still chuckle ...

Re: RL Cherokee pilots - your thoughts?

Hi, sorry I didn't notice the question. I played with this a bit on a recent flight. My experience mirrors Hook's pretty closely. I started to notice the inbalance at 6 gallons, and it was annoying at 8-9 gallons. This was IMC though, so I would have been more aware of the corrections required. I m...

Re: Prepar3D v4.4 - released

Hi Folks, While I wouldn’t expect any issues with A2A products with the P3Dv4.4 update - I am curious if A2A has any PBR material updates coming for existing products - so we can see just how good an aircraft can look when taking advantage of the new texture technology... Regards, Scott Sent ...

Have you ever landed at the wrong airport?

While not an "unintentional" landing, just the other day I was doing a BETA flight for the new Flysimware Falcon 50 from Georgia to Branson, MO. Hi Folks, LOL - what is it about Branson - Bermuda Triangle of the fly over states? https://youtu.be/M3oW5Rx0_B8 Regards, Scott Sent from my iPh...

Re: Virginia’s Mountain Empire

Hi Esa, A great deal slower, friendlier, and more laid back than life in a big city - which is far better in my book... I’ve worked in downtown Manhattan most of my life - my retirement plan is to head for the north woods of Maine - never to return - for a very rural existence - probably simi...

Virginia’s Mountain Empire

Hello Scott, Good catch! Thanks for the heads up mate. I like the concept: Hi Tony, I do too - as these are the type of places that many GA pilots spend most of their time... For the record - all the grey around Lee County is there in real life as well... Grundy looks like the most fun - a mountain...
