Thank you, Scott & GT182, for the FM info. And thank _you_, AC, for those extremely interesting insider's comments of real-life WWII aircraft - well, as Richard said already there's NO substitute for the real thing! But anyways: BoB2 looks good, behaves good (or so they say anyway) even in a lo-...

Yep, AFAIK this is the normal shutdown sequence for WWII-era AC. You'll get too rich a mixture for your next start if you turn ignition off 1st.

Emergencies, OTOH, are a different matter altogether I presume...?

I beg to differ. The majority @ UbiZoo are actually pretty satisfied with the new FM, myself included, but the whiners are just too loud...

But yep, it's not called UbiZoo for nothing ;)

The MkIIC arrived well after the Battle of Britain. Mk1s only in the BoB, some with two position pitch control only. Yep, that's true and historically accurate (& kudos for that). But who the h**l cares since Hurris rule anyway, huh? ;) No, but I WILL ride the Hurri, be it MK1 w/ Brownings or a...

What're you gonna ride in BoB?

As for me, it'll be the Hurri. No speed demon that one, but I just _LOVE_ the frickin' plane, and those 20mm. Hispanos just plain ROCK!!! I'm actually so badly hooked that all I've done lately has been playing off-line Hurri Mk.IIc vs. bunch of Ju-88A-4s in IL-2 ;) And we of course have to remember ...

Any comments on this setup:

AMD Athlon 1.3GHz
512MB RAM
GeForce4 64MB memory

Will I be able to run the game with mid-quality graphics settings? Yeah, I know, this computer is an old piece of c**p... But what can I do - no money for a new one yet :(

Re: Still No Firm Release Date?

I'd like to see an official statement on this matter, this being as badly late as it is. I mean, you DO hit all kinds of snags in a large software project, but "2 weeks, be sure" just doesn't IMHO cut it anymore... Sorry if I sound like a whiner, but I'd REALLY love to see this sim out &am...
