Re: Disable Maintenance in C172 Trainer?
Hello, Yes, there is the ability to turn off the damage and aircraft maintenance. In the controls menu, while sitting in the aircraft (shift 3), there is an option called DAMAGE. Select OFF, and your aircraft will no longer have damage. I'd recommend checking the maintenance hangar (shift 7) before ...

Re: Envtex causing P3D to crash with the V-tail
Just wanted to add that I had Active Sky, ENVTEX and Shade and haven't encountered any issues. I'd definitely communicate with the guys over there and see if they can help mate.

I’m assuming you’ve purchased the Bonanza? If not, I’m at a loss and perhaps a qualified team member can assist you.

Hey bud,
Scott has said this will be fixed Monday. Just wait a touch and everything should be good to go.

So much to think about. Either way, I think the lesson is do not fly this aircraft beyond VNE. Typical for other aircraft, but especially true it seems with these ones perhaps?

Re: GNS knob lights
I can't answer this with any authority, honestly. I'd assume it would be tied to the radio lights, but then again, I'm no mechanic and only have limited experience working on Bonanzas (and less so on their avionics). Best to let someone else chime in who's on the team.

I haven't heard back from my mechanic friend either. He's been super flaky lately, so it's been hard to get anything from the guy unless I physically go down to the airport and just ask him.

Re: Congrats A2A team!Question dangerousness of the V Tail?
Out of curiosity, when the FAA issued the AD, do you think it assisted any or do you feel it was over-engineering? I've always been curious. While I worked on a few annuals for these aircraft, I don't recall having this conversation much. I know this is an extremely contentious and heated debate in ...

Re: Congrats A2A team!Question dangerousness of the V Tail?
lknfly, in answer to your question we did not model things like the tail ripping off due to the sensitivity of the subject. I believe any flying v-tail Bo today is a lot safer than they used to be. According to multiple sources, the safety record since the FAA issued an AD in 1987 for beefing up ru...

You guys are nailing it. For the record, I had the same problem in beta testing, as I was over priming. As soon as I realized what I was doing wrong, I changed my methodology. I just wait until she gets inside the green arc and immediately cut it off by having my hand on the switch ready to go.

Re: Congrats A2A team!Question dangerousness of the V Tail?
This is discussed heavily in the manual. One of the problems came from pilots exceeding VNE, usually in bad conditions, and over-stressing the airframe. It was kind of a domino effect. Structural changes were made, giving pilots a bit more time, but education was also part of it.

I think by default they’re on as long as the avionics switch is on.

We’ve noticed this too. I just recently contacted F1 about this, and I suggest you do the same. There’s a long forum post about this over there.

Re: Bonanza Fuel System Problems!
1) Make sure you have a fuel tank selected.
2) This seems to have been a mistake on A2A’s part, although I think it’s still being double checked. There’s no need to run the pump during takeoff and landing.
3) I haven’t a clue. Perhaps someone more qualified can help?

I've found this to be true, and let my video card handle it if necessary. I've heard others say that this increases framerates as well (I think I picked up a couple).
