Re: Transition to the 2D view glitch
Hi Gerard, My apologies if I miss understand your issue. Your second screen shot above is the default view, including the 2D panels shown, when selecting an A2A aircraft from the FSX menus and pressing F10 or selecting using the A key. If you want a different set of 2D panels, or no 2D panels, set t...

Re: toggle headphones with lua script
Hi Paul, Thanks for the suggestion, a quick test shows it working. My problem was a little different from Thomas/allergiecheck. When I turned the Avionics Master on, the headphones would appear for a few seconds and disappear. Then turning the Avionics Master off, the headphones would disappear (if ...

Re: toggle headphones with lua script
Hi, I have written a lua script which should switch on/off the headphones automatically when the avionics master switch is turned on/off. The script catches the event of the avionics master offset and then exists of the 3 commands provided by A2A variable list: function Headphones(control, on_off) ...

Re: Oxygen?
Thank you. Is there a way to display a momentary message or indication that the LUA script is actually on/active? Hi Capt, Creating a display in a Lua script is pretty easy. I'm just scratching the surface of Lua but here is a script I use to monitor my strobe lights and display the status: -- A2A_...

Re: USB-Reconnect for each use
Hi Barry,
Just un-checking the USB properties is not a Permanent solution as Alan has said. You will need to go into Power Options and modify your current power plan as outlined in my post.

Re: USB-Reconnect for each use
Hi Barry and Jacques, Take a look at this thread from reddit.com: https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/3r2bp8/is_it_possible_to_completely_disable_usb_power/ Yes. I also found the Windows default setting of turning off the usb ports very annoying but in Windows 10 there is an easy fix. Access...

Re: F-35 'hosed' by F-16 in mock dogfight
Wow, what a great discussion! 30 replies, who would have guessed... My intent in opening this topic was not to denigrate the F-35 but to marvel at the 40 year old F-16, which IMHO is the best dog fighter ever built. I have not researched the F-35 until now, just being aware that it is stealth...

F-35 'hosed' by F-16 in mock dogfight
A mock air battle was held over the Pacific Ocean between the cutting-edge F-35 - meant to be the most sophisticated jet ever - and an F-16, which was designed in the 1970s. But according to the test pilot, the F-35 is still too slow to hit an enemy plane or dodge gunfire. So far, it has cost the US...

Re: Can't get to work with FSX:SE
Hope someone can help. I loaded the C182 on my desktop, windows 7, and it isn't powerful enough to run the program. I disabled it on the desktop. I then downloaded it onto my laptop, Windows 10 and FSX:SE. It doesn't show up in FSX:SE. What can I do? Do I have to purchase another C182? Does it work...

Re: Turbo Lever through FSUIPC
Hi deimos, Sorry I didn't post this yesterday - sounds like you have it sorted anyway. So I didn't find any mention of the standard.xml in the FSUIPC installation instructions, I don't know where I read that. Anyway, here is the controller section from my standard.xml found in the default location o...

Re: Major Upgrade Time
Hi Paul, I did a clean install of both Win 10 and FSX-SE as I think you did. Since there was no trace of FSX disk edition on my system, I had zero problem with my A2A install. I have all the Accu-Sim birds so I installed each of them - opening them in FSX along the way, and lastly running the update...
