How do I enable/install RealityXP GPS?

Just installed the Cherokee and would like to use my either my RealityXP GNS430 or GNS530 (if supported). What do I need to do to reconfigure the panel to display and use these gauges? Is there a special panel.cfg file? I read the RXP FAQ post and looked in the manual and I seem to have missed the c...

Career Mode OFF – After Take-off

I am preparing to start another round the world trip in my Stratocruiser but have been encountering problems with Career Mode. I think I may have in-avertedly made things worse with my troubleshooting efforts. My initial problem was that I could not set Career Mode to “ON” (It was greyed...

Re: Flying the high lattitudes in the Stratocruiser

Thanks for the comments. On this flight I used REX Essentials and chose a random theme for sky and cloud textures. I was surprised by the blue and orange evening sky colors but liked the effect.

Re: Attention COTS Pilots - Post Your Captain's Logs Here

Just completed my longest flight yet in the Stratocruiser (4608nm) and achieved my lowest cost per mile. Very satisfying flight.

Re: I need help selecting a joystick

Another option for entry-level is the Thrustmaster T.16000M. Inexpensive, uses Hall Effect sensors (no wearing out of the pots) and I've been very happy with mine since my old Saitek X45 wore out about 6 months ago (after 5+ years). +1 on this recommendation. I replaced my failed FFB2 with the T.16...

Pan Am Around the World Tour KSFO-KBOS (Final Leg)

Re: Everts Air Cargo / Fuel (paint Job!)

Just a heads up in case you were not aware. PMDG is developing a DC-6. You will need to be patient but it will probably be worth the wait. Some early screenshots here:

Pan Am Arround the World Tour - YBBN-PHNL

This has been my longest over water leg in the Stratocruiser. The planner showed the direct distance to be 4075nm. I took full fuel and medium passenger/freight load and was fortunate to encounter favorable winds. I had Johnston Atoll as my emergency divert airfield. There is a lot of ocean between ...

Re: Pan Am Arround the World Tour - South to Australia

Continuing my tour around the World. I left Hong Kong heading to Australia and hoped to make it to Melbourne but the winds were against me and I had to make a fuel stop in Tindal before continuing south to Melbourne. http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/290337_rtw_04_75.jpg Leaving Hong Kong at ...
