Re: What Cessna 172 Model?
I had hoped A2A would carry on producing unique military and civilian aircraft similar to the excellent products they have already released. We already know they will continue making military stuff like the F-104 and F-4, so don't think that just because they are making some more popular GA aircraf...

Re: P-51 Civvy
Did you install the Accu-sim Core Update 1.5.1 after you installed the civvy P-51?

Re: AMD CPU
Intel CPUs are much, much better for FSX. Get an Ivy Bridge I5 3570k if you're looking to save a little money (i.e. you don't need to have the absolute best) or get the I7 3770k if you want the hyperthreading ability of the I7 series.

Re: Shift+2 panel NOTES is "MPH" value, ASI is knots - CIV P
Hi molleh, thanks. Putting two values together i think it is not a good idea. Additional MPH is absolutely irrelevant and a error source. ASI is KIAS and we do not need any information about MPH. I agree, but they (A2A) might be using the same graphic resources in the "gauge" where...

Re: Civilian for all core Accu-Sim 1.5 Aircraft?
Hey hey, there's no conflict at all here unless someone wants to create one. Everybody has their own unique way of "flying" in Flight Sim.Rammit wrote:May the massive conflict between hardcore authentic pilots and civvie 'computer programmers' begin

Re: Shift+2 panel NOTES is "MPH" value, ASI is knots - CIV P
Any feedback by staff or is it a foulty installation at my computer? Regards It's not your installation, it has the same checklist/notes on my PC too. I agree it should be updated to knots to reflect the ASI on the civilian version. edit: Or at least a mph / knots listed together, e.g. Gear: 170mph...

Re: Slow Down + Ground Roll
As for the OP's first question, I would like to know the best way to handle descent myself. I also find that in order to slow down enough to extend flaps and gear I have to idle the throttle, and the Merlin doesn't like to run smooth then, and it fouls the plugs. If I run it at 20" or so (like ...

Re: Civilian for all core Accu-Sim 1.5 Aircraft?
Before Civil mustang came out, I played around with adding in a popup autopilot. I had found this nice vintage looking FS9 gauge. I modified it a little so that the heading dial was more legible. After core update 1.5 came out I decided to adapt it to the P-40. I changed a few of the aircraft.cfg a...

Re: Oil Pressure Too High
Avio, It is normal for the oil pressure to go this high when the oil temp is cold. Next time you see this high oil pressure, take note to your oil temps. Also, the oil pressure needs to go VERY high to be a problem. 150psi is not critical, but you just want to do what you can to keep it low. The oi...

Good point Eric.Eric. wrote:Related, should one of the lines also have the manufacturer so that when ATC addresses you it would be something like "North American 211", instead of just "211". Some, maybe all, of the P51s have Air Force as the airline, but I got rid of that.

Re: Parking Brake Issue
It took me a few tries to get it down, but I love the way it works. It's very immersive and way better than just clicking the handle in the cockpit, or control-period. But yeah, I just press toe brakes, pull handle, release brakes, let go of handle.

Have you been under a rock? (just kidding ) Yes it will, as will the Cherokee. That's why their Development Update video Scott was talking about some of the different aspects of caring for a GA plane.svaughn01 wrote:Please tell me the 172 will be AccuSimmed

Re: Finished Paints - Civilian
Theres a bunch of civilian paints that were released for the military version. You can just convert them over with a slight config tweak. Also a bunch of the war bird high shine ones created by repainters such as 'cdfi' fit well with the modern cockpit too as they are modern flying examples. thanks...

One very minor tweak for the civilian Mustang - ATC ID
I noticed in the aircraft.cfg entry for the MoonBeam McSwine, the ATC ID entry is blank. I think it should read 414237 (the tail number) like the other included paint schemes. Just a super minor thing but helps for consistency :) PS: very nice touch having the current ATC ID # on the cockpit in fron...
