Re: PA24 Won't move forward in some places

In addition to Lewis' question, I'm wondering if you see that same behaviour at other parking spots ay CYZF and/or if you're seeing that at any other airports?

Re: Next Plane For 2020

Should have been more specific here, I am, rather obviously, talking about, well, almost anything but Merlins and American radials here. You know, the way more interesting ones; einherz stuff that I was thinking. ;) Well that apparently wasn’t obvious to me, but in that context, your comments do ma...

Re: Next Plane For 2020

why no bf109? ... really, why no 109? It doesn’t have the range I want for travelling, it’s a cramped cockpit with no bubble canopy, squirrely ground handling behaviour and...oh yeah, it’s basically ugly...especially in comparison to my Cottonmouth Mustang. https://live.staticflickr.com/6...

Re: Help me figure out the sensors.

Since that really doesn’t translate to the sim, we just pretend that they reset the Hobbs and Tach at an engine change. In my simple farm boy world, Hobbs time is airframe time and tach time is engine time. Upon having an engine change or overhaul on my Comanche, the Hobbs bloody well better not be...

I'm with einherz on this one...kinda'...I think (never really thought I'd say that :P ) ... all but the BF-109 thing...ick  The worldwide warbird movement is huge and guess what? No shooting or dropping bombs there either! There are many folks involved in the restoration and display of warb...

Re: GNS750 Course Line Question

Same here. I've been battling with this issue now for some time. Left in default view it's difficult to track the line and have the airplane icon on the line. Clicking out to 6 or 7 miles merges the line with the airplane icon. It's puzzling ! Puzzling indeed and now curiouser and curiouser... As I...

Re: GNS750 Course Line Question

'Morning Dudley,

It's not a bug. I never noticed it because I don't usually zoom below 10 nm while enroute...or, ever actually. In NAV tracking mode, my CDI shows slightly right of course until zoomed out to 7.5 nm+.

I thought I was being ultra dumb! Nope, you're good Ron. Re: Masters of the Air on Apple TV

The trouble with AI is that the film usually goes a bridge too far when they stretch for effect and the stretch doesn't follow real life physics. There is a perfect example in this teaser. That 17 that half rolls onto the back of another 17 after being hit by flack is totally phoney to anyone with ...

Re: New user issues

Nice catch. It seems you've also answered your second question. As an AccuSim 2.0 airplane, it will not play well with MSFS active pause...it will sometimes work ok and sometimes not,,,a crap shoot  Don't use it and you should be able to taxi to the runway without stalling the engine. I use fi...

Re: ATC assigns FL250

There’s really nothing here for A2A to fix. It’s a default or addon ATC issue that has nothing to do with the Comanche. Having said that, how did ATC come up with FL250? Is that not the altitude you filed with your flight plan? With proper ATC, all you’d have to do is request a lower altitude. The “...
