Re: Video - Early morning flight in Alaska in VR
Sweet! I have a regular Vive now but a Vive Pro is under the tree for me (shhhhh....don't tell anyone). If you don't mind me asking how did you record this?

Re: Bonanza is turning back time?
Hi Nick,
Just did another test and it looks like it is working fine...could be a bad save file....idk. If I come across it again I will attempt to get more information
Thanks,
Brett

Re: Bonanza is turning back time?
Hi Nick!
No worries on the delay. I believe it is only a bonanza issue. I will have to set up a test case to get some more information. My main concern is that it could possibly be an unintended effect of the systems modeling and I know you all like to keep things tidy.
Kind Regards,
Brett

Re: P3D 4.4
I believe most of the P3D offerings have features that list special A2A materials for steel, rubber, plastic, etc. Does this mean that PBR is already implemented for these models?

Bonanza is turning back time?
This is a potential minor issue related to the Bonanza. My typical mode of operation is to fly from one airport to the other and then save my flight at the arrival airport and start my next flight from there. I have a few different planes out there in different locations. One thing I have noticed wi...

Re: Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog...
Hi have had one for years with a 15cm extension. I have it center mounted in my cockpit. Like you I use DCS as well, in particular I enjoy the helicopters. The stick works perfectly and I have no issue with the detent with the extension in place. Just figure out the ergonomics so you get the base at...

Re: Warthog Throttle ?
Scott, I actually had this same desk a number of years ago along with the extensions to either side and used if for my sim pit (flying and driving). What I liked about it was it was very sturdy, plenty of leg room, plenty of desk space and built in cable management. What I didn't like from a sim per...

Re: Warthog Throttle ?
Another thought for possible rudder use with the Warthog is the slider lever. It is the grey lever on the base station under the thumb. It slides fore-aft and stays in place (this would probably be kind of hard to constantly move while still having the hand on the throttle). I have used this as a co...

Re: Warthog Throttle ?
Scott, Bruce is correct. There is a micro-stick (nub) which lines up with the middle finger. It can be either an x-y axis or programmed as a mouse as needed. It ma take you a bit to get used to using the same function with a finger as opposed to the thumb. Overall it is very nice piece of equipment....

Persistent Aircraft Question
This is kind of a general question and not particular to any aircraft. Is the aircraft persistent regardless of its location or saved game status and thus only the location is related to the saved state/game Example: Lets say I have two Bonanza saved games in P3DV4. One is in the US and the other is...

Re: Pending GA A2A Aircraft Choice
I had purchased the Bonanza and had initially found myself gravitating back to the Comanche. But, after I have spent some more time with the Bonanza I am really finding myself selecting it the majority of the time. I truly enjoy how it. With regards to the Goflight gear. I used to have a couple piec...

Re: Bonanza autopilot operation
That is exactly right Scott. I typically dial it in before hand as well and will usually ARM it right after takeoff. I was mainly trying to outline how the functions worked with a tinge of real flight progression. Also you are right with regards to the ALT button. If you have a desired altitude dial...

Re: Bonanza autopilot operation
Hoping this helps and hoping I don't miss a step. It took me a few rounds to get the hang of the AP but here is how I use it now 1) Press the FD mode. I typically do this on the ground. Doing this initially really doesn't do much more than set a wing level reference and a pitch attitude reference. T...
