Re: C182 Ailerons Wont turn Completely to the right
Hi, Have you tired without FSUIPC, and see how the controls work. One more thing as well, if you happen to reinstall the entire FSX, make sure you install it outside Program Files. I used to have various issues with FSX before, than in the last windows reinstall, I moved FSX in the main C drive fold...

Hi,
Are you running the latest AccuSim update? Make also sure to update your SimConnect, sometimes it does the trick instead of reinstalling the entire C182.

Re: Parking Brake Won't Stay On
Hi,
Make sure you have the latest AccuSim update, and if it doesn't do the trick also update your Sim Connect.
If the issue persists, specify your sim type (FSX or P3D) and the addons, you use in your reply.

Re: Fatal Error Occurred.
Hi, I use to have the same problem with my C172 and C182 - same windows error with same error log. I have Windows 8.1 Pro. The issue occurred during flight, when I tried to open any of the plane windows. I have not experienced the issue, since I updated my Simconnect. - Run the Microsoft FSX Simconn...

Re: C172 radio and nav stack will not come on
Hi,
Make sure you're running the latest Accusim update, and if that does not fix it, tryreinstalling your SimConnect client.
Here is some useful info:

Yes, P3D is a separate product. A2A Simulations, also offer bundle products, that include both FSX and P3D editions.

Awash,
Have you tried this:

"...If you still get an error with the C172, look in your A2A / Cessna 172 folder, and delete the "update_fsx" folder and re-run. Sorry for the trouble."

Re: Wind direction question from a confused pilot
Hi sidfadc, It depends which REX you have. REX direct with overdrive is the older version and has weather engine. I have REX4 with soft clouds, it can download the METAR from the current weather station and inject that weather in your FSX. However you can use external weather engine. I use FSrealWX ...

Re: Tires
I think, one of the tire types in the hanger ( c172 and c182 ) are more suitable for grass. "Air Trac", if I am not mistaken was the model. You can consider them for bush flights.
