Any other ideas?
Hi,

It's not enough that the file is there, you actually need to install it by double clicking on the .msi file.

Re: Ramdom Skylane 182 states in P3Dv4

In the shift+3 menu there should be a button/text you can click that says "Auto C&D on/off", that should do it for you.

Re: Dunkirk Movie – not recommended

I'm not going to make any political comments, but I would agree that Nolan seems to have a weakness in creating compelling characters and good, natural dialogue. I've actually enjoyed all of his movies a lot, but admittedly it's usually because of concepts and themes instead of interesting character...

Re: Is making a move to fsx steam edition a smart move?

I would definitely make the switch to FSX Steam Edition. It performs a good bit better than the boxed version and comes with several tweaks and fixes that plagued the original version, like the uiautomotioncore crashes.

Re: FSX:SE to P3DV4 - Worth It?

The more time I spend with P3D v4, the clearer it is to me just how much better it is than FSX overall. It's definitely the future of MS ESP-based flight simming (unless Dovetail makes huge leaps with FSW and decides to be more open about allowing 3rd party development.) It looks better than FSX, pe...

Re: Parking brake

You are almost certainly getting a spike from your pedals. Even 1 blip from the potentiometer will release the parking brake if your deadzone is set to 0. I would set your deadzone up a bit and see if that helps.

I am using Ultimate Traffic Live and I like it a lot. However, it's in a "pre-release"/beta status so expect some ongoing bug fixing, livery updates etc.

They are both excellent, so for sure you can't go wrong either way. I voted Cherokee because I like the vintage style. :)

Yes, the reflections are "baked in" to the cockpit textures so to speak.

Re: P3D v3 vs P3D v4 - what's the real advantage?

The main difference would be the 64 bit move, dynamic lighting, and increased autogen draw distance option. Other than that, it's pretty much exactly the same as V3 (for the average user, anyway.) Oh, there are new precipitation effects but they're not that much better. Aha, the voice of reason and...
