Re: Great plane! But, a couple of problems...
Since I downloaded the new patch, I can now get the sounds to come back by fiddling with the volume slider. The sounds still go away, but I can finally get them to come back.

Re: Wings Tilting to left during takeoff roll
I just had it happen again. I was taking off from an airport with a displaced threshold. I taxied onto the displaced threshold and opened the throttle to full. When I rolled from the displaced threshold onto the runway, the plane jolted, and the wings started rolling hard to the left. I think this p...

Re: Great plane! But, a couple of problems...
Scott, did y'all determine that the problem was just system overload, or is this a bug that can be patched?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Wings Tilting to left during takeoff roll
We do have ground bumps modeled in Accu-Sim, so when you roll off the runway, we are modeling the Cub going over bumps and divits. Is this what you are referring too? If this is something different, can you give us the exact steps to reproduce it? The update is just around the corner and so far, we...

Re: Wings Tilting to left during takeoff roll
No, I don't think either that flat tires are modeled. I have seen tilting the A/C on a few occasions when doing off-field landings. But this rather seems an FSX anomaly as on all these occasions one or two wheels seemed to be sunk into the ground. In reality they were just rolling on the underlying...

Re: Wings Tilting to left during takeoff roll
Here are the results of my test flight. It does indeed seem to be a flat tire. When I land the Cub hard on grass, one of the tires will go flat. I wasn't able to flatten the tires on pavement, but I think it has happened on pavement before. I then tried to take off afterward, and the wings rolled in...

Re: Wings Tilting to left during takeoff roll
I have had something similar happen a few times. After I've landed, turned off of the runway, and stopped, the Cub will settle to one side. It will stay this way until I reload the Cub. If I go to an exterior view, the tire appears to be flat. I have heard that flat tires are modeled. But, it isn't ...

It figures I'd be in that <1%. This Cub is still the best thing I've ever seen for Flight Simulator, though.Scott - A2A wrote:Roadburner,

Re: Great plane! But, a couple of problems...
On a further note was just flying through West Virginia and lost sounds, and then I started messing with it and then got the message FSX was not responding. So now I am at a loss as to what to do. Done every trick I know of so will just watch here. I have also had FSX lock up while flying the Cub. ...

Re: Great plane! But, a couple of problems...
"for a while" BPL, I ran the cub for 20 minutes with the window and door opened and the sound is still ok, so can you answer the following: 1. Do you cycle views at any point? If so, does the issue happen if you stay in the cockpit? 2. Approximately how long does it take for the sound to ...
