Re: AFK feature request
Sorry guys - I'm afraid I completely forgot about this until kielsf4's post. For registered FSUIPC users, a simple Lua script as follows should start by switching the fuel selector to the left tank, and then continue swapping between the two tanks every 15 minutes. Basically, you'll need to ...

Re: AFK feature request
Hi guys, did you make it work? I'd be very interested in the lua script as well!

I had the same issue. Go to the RXP GTN settings (hold left shift and right click the top bezel of the unit), scroll down to "Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS)" and enable "GPS Selected". That solved it for me. (https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/549133-rnav-approach-trk-n...

Re: Low Resolution Cockpit Textures
Unfortunately all Bonnie textures have mipmaps which causes the textures to become blurry on some systems. Other than manually removing all mipmaps from all texture files (took me about 10 minutes) there is nothing you can do at the moment...

Re: Civilian mustang, why no ground power unit.
Not only is there no GPU available in the CIV Mustang, there is also no way to recharge the battery in the "Maintenance Hangar". Once your battery is dead, your only option is to reload the plane...Odd decision to add neither of those options in the V4 release IMHO. Something is not right...

Re: Any chance for an upgraded beacon?
Thanks Nick and Lewis on your positive feedback! I'm using P3Dv4.3. I tried deleting/ moving the files you specified, and it looks much better.. at least as long you're in the VC. On ground in bright sunlight you'll still see the beacon cast on the ground, which would only be expected at night, but...

Re: Any chance for an upgraded beacon?
Hi Matthias, If you prefer, it's actually possible to eliminate the 'light cones' for the beacon and landing lights by removing some of the *.fx files. In Prepar3D this will leave behind the default dynamic lighting which I think looks rather good on its own. If you're interested, please let me kno...

Issues with CIV Mustang in P3Dv4
Hey guys, I have a couple of issues with the Civilian Mustang in P3Dv4. 1. The Attitude Indicator is linked to the Battery instead of the Suction Pump. Is it really meant to be an electric AI? 2. The Davtron M303 turns on with the Battery but you can't cycle the modes unless the Avionic Master is on...

Re: the future of A2A and FSX?
I'm not too sure about that. Mathijs Kok, Product- and Development Manager at Aerosoft says that downloads across their FSX product line have tanked significantly since P3Dv4 has been released.Hook wrote:[...]This might be a very long time, as FSX is still a strong product.[...]

Re: The secret airplane in development
My guess is a depressurization training event, in some kind of pressurized straight wing aircraft, civilian, possible one of the new, single engine light jets . Really too slow for any kind of military aircraft. Very unlikely. The amount of work involved in developing the necessary avionics (e.g. P...

Re: Debonair / F33A
i think it will be only the v35 because for the test of the v35 they need to test a debonair to compare result and flight dynamic changes its better to compare than only test the v35. i remember with cessna 182t scott test a cessna g1000 glass cockpit but we never see a c182t glass cockpit in a2a. ...
