This is Instant Action which I rarely play.
I think that Enemy Casualties 4/7 Bf109 means that your 54 Squadron claimed 4 kills of a total of 7 Bf109 casualties.
Or is it the Player? What did your Diary say about how many kills you got during this Instant Action?

Re: My plane won't fully deploy landing gears...(stuck)
Seyter, You will damage your Under Carriage or your Flaps, if you deploy them at too high an airspeed. In BoBII, with it's flight modelling, here are the Safe To Deploy air speeds for the Under Carriage and Flaps. As tested by me.: Spitfire: Under Carriage - 160 mph Flaps - 160 mph Hurricane: Under ...

Re: SCREENSHOTS
Boreas, The Battle of Britain Development Group does not have my permission to include any files that I have made available since 2.13 was released in any further BDG update of BoBII Wings of Victory. OK. Understood. However, you still remain a member of the BDG. As you actually make things better a...

Re: How to zoom in on aircraft in external view ?
BOBC, I recall that you like a "standard" external view that is closer to the AC when looking at the aircraft skins. This view was changed for BoBII to be further away from an AC than it was in BoB1. In the bdg text file find this line: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/22685453/External...

Re: BOBII and Windows 7 64-bit
Happy New Year, BOBC. I remember you from years gone by. As lofty said, look in the BoBII root folder. If you have a MultiKin folder in there, then MultiSkin is installed. Note. I encircled a text file named bdg. Therein is how you can Enable it or Disable it. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/226...

Re: FX_FILES_ONLY AC skins
The Stuka .FX file is not working well. Even though it looks like all of the other AC .FX files. :? First of all here is the no-MultiSkin texture with my (Lehr) letter codes and (improper for Lehr, but that I like) adler emblem pasted on. It from a MultiSkin "main skin" not altered by me. ...

Re: FX_FILES_ONLY AC skins
Later this week, I will show the Stuka, and what I did with it's .FX file, to make it look not like a very, very, DARK black devil, and lighten up this species skin color a bit. :P My first exploration into the dark secrets of the .FX files code. Which any Player can edit, but never did so before, e...

FX_FILES_ONLY AC skins
Aircraft skins using MULTI_SKIN_MODE=FX_FILES_ONLY. When you select MULTI_SKIN_MODE=DISABLE none of the .fx files for objects work. Not aircraft, nor buildings or trees. When you select FX_FILES_ONLY you get all the better lighting effects of the .fx files, but get a real sorry looking "plain J...

Re: The BDG is always looking for Testers and other Skills
There is a pinned topic on the Beta Testers forum called Who Are We Testers? You can introduce yourself there, and yes, please give us your computer specs. Last week I started packing up all of my stuff, plus some work from others (about 200 modified files) that was done in 2016, ready to hand over ...

Re: The BDG is always looking for Testers and other Skills
Lofty Anstruther, We do not get many volunteers lately. It has been very quiet on the General Forum and the BDG Beta Testing forum compared to years past. What is left of the BDG is a small core of 3 men working on things, and a handful of infrequent testers. We do have my many new BFIELDS and groun...

Styggron, 1. I can't see the airfield in any of your pictures 2. they hardly look any different to me Well, after I browned out the airfield grass texture, you will see a rather large brown area among all the green and light yellow fallow or recently harvested farm fields. It makes the airfields loo...

Re: Question re A2A download version of BOB2
Stygron, The airport is just invisible practically from the air, sure they can vector you in but you're not aligned you find it turn round for an approach, clear skies and you can't SEE the airport again..... very frustrating. You are not the first man to complain about how hard it is to see the air...
