Re: Another Input Config problem for P3D 3.1
Hi Michael I just posted this on LM forum. I doubt it will be changed but worth a try. "Please consider changing the method of identifying joysticks etc. from the numbering system currently in use which can change if devices are added removed or moved, to using each device's unique usb id. The ...

Why can't the input configurator use the unique id all USB devices have similar to what fsuipc does when it assigns a letter rather than a position number? Then it shouldn't matter the order which will always change as new items are added or removed?
Thanks

Re: Prepar3d V3.1 out
Among the lines of the issues I am having was that all the CHProducts names were missing in P3Dv3 and they said that would be fixed in v3.1 which it should be, however, another issue is that if I try to assign a button on my usb key controller in the A2A input config, it reads it as control 8 butto...

Re: Prepar3d V3.1 out
Oskar Have you by any chance installed the content portion of the 3.1 upgrade? I would like to update everything to 3.1 but not sure if the content installer would cause problems with my A2A installs. Edit: for anyone interested, I just uninstalled 3.0 content and installed 3.1. So far so good with ...

Re: Prepar3d V3.1 out
Good to hear. I had understood that there would have to be a new A2A update to finally resolve all the control issues? Not true?
Thanks

Saitek FIP and Spad.Next
For those of you with the Saitek gauges that have not used them because A2A used local variables to drive some of the flight and engine parameters and the Saitek drivers would not let you use lvars, help is here. Spad.next has reached the stage of development to cover FIP gauges. See http://www.fsgs...

Re: Piper A2A for P3D2.5
For Scott re the piper cub We've actually discussed making a P3D version of the J3, as it has good training qualities. We're pretty deep in development atm, but this may be something that comes out in the not too distant future. Scott. Scott any update on moving the Cub to p3d v3? "This is part...

P3D V3 controls
Are there configuration files that I can copy from the A2A folders in V2.5 to V3 so that I wouldn't have to redo all the input configurations?

Prepar3d V3 install error
I just finished installing into P3D V3 my C170 C182 P180 and P250 and the lastest update with the new installers I downloaded from the A2A store. For two or three of these I got the windows error saying this program may not have installed correctly. In each case I clicked the option that it did inst...

Re: P3D V3 Windows 10 and Comanche
Hi Lewis Yep I am probably in the minority. I just think that until we move to a more realistic mode of charging for periodic major revisions, we will not move forward as fast as we could. I applaud LM for saying hey this is a much better product so we are charging for it. I know that is harder for ...
