I have the 182 with the KAP140 Autopilot.
Is it equipped with the 'Control Wheel Steering' override within its interior?
Would be nice!

Re: C182T - Pennsylvania Troopers
Nice paint!
Just one question. Why are all the houses white? Wouldn't want to have to go home to that neighborhood drunk, at 3am!
But seriously, nice job.

Re: Caessna 182 - Where Is This Part?
Thanx for all your help George and Steve. Let me continue to pick your brains. 1) Is it possible to place real-people faces in the cockpit instead of a bunch of Heidi's relatives? Would love to see a familiar face when in an outside view. I see the frontal pictures of the default faces and have alre...

Finally! Thank you!
I never thought of zeroing in by half-filling until it gets changed. Good idea.
I will be posting a pic or two when I'm finished!

Re: Trying Out A2A
I've flown the 182 for years and like it.
Good range, decent speed, climbs good and floats on touchdown once you remember to not pull the throttle all the way out until the tires chirp.

Re: Getting back to Flight Sims after 5 year break.
Well a very welcome back to the world of flight simming!! Boy if you didn't open up a barrel, not can, of worms, possibly even some snakes  There are so so many options these days. I find it all rather overwhelming. It all boils down to your budget really. From a joystick, a gaming laptop, and ...

Re: Tach vs Hobbs
Interesting topic.
Have never paid much mind to it, not being a RL pilot and all, but I have noticed it before. I just never knew the difference.
Is anything becoming of it?
just curious

Re: KAP140 Autopilot
COOL!!
Worked like a charm.
I had no clue that was even in the start menu. Shows you how much I see the start menu.
I have everything I use pinned to the task bar. Never hit 'start' until it's bedtime for the sim.
Thank you Nick!

KAP140 Autopilot
Good morning. I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this question so feel free to move it if need be. I just recently made a push button panel to resemble the KAP140 autopilot on my dash. I didn't mimic the knobs as I use the knobs on my Saitek Radio Panel for that. I am running FSX. https:/...

Re: 64 Bit Revisited.. new topic.. old subject..
It's about the ability of third party developers to manipulate the sim for their addons at the sim's core. XP is not written to allow such manipulation of the sim at that deep a level. Cheers, Mike So it was a conscious decision made by LM, allowing only certain developers to the 'inner circle' ? O...

Re: Flight Controls
Boy if this isn't a can of worms, For what it's worth, I myself use a ProFlight yoke with throttle quadrant, a switch panel, a radio panel, and a trim wheel, all Saitek. I found it all on eBay, used. I use Spad.Next as my drivers as they are programmable and that in itself is tremendously help...

.... I cringe every time I hear a low flying helo at night, but so far nobody is zip lining onto my roof! Seeya ATB Now that's funny, I don't care who you are! You've just explained why I had such hopes for Flight Sim World, Marc. If XP11 had a more open base engine, then it could seriously become ...
