Most definitely! I'm already down to $5 an hour after one week. Full disclosure: I used $15 worth of A2A Flying Hours that I still had for a discount. Almost felt like robbing you guys.

Re: About the auto-pilot

It is not a VFR plane, it is IFR and VFR capable Exactly. I did two full IFR flights the other day, with zero visibility on departure and bad visibilty on arrival, with zero issues getting from point A to point B, using the autopilot to prevent task saturation. I even found the runway easy as pie w...

Re: About the auto-pilot

The Comanche's autopilot does pretty much everything you need (riding the magenta line, ILS approaches, RNAV approaches etc.) No it doesn't, not automatically. You can only turn the heading button by yourself at each waypoint Yes it does! What you are saying is simply not true. I suggest reading th...

Re: About the auto-pilot

I don't understand what the issue is. The Comanche's autopilot does pretty much everything you need (riding the magenta line, ILS approaches, RNAV approaches etc.) The only thing it doesn't do is automatic altitude changes and follow the glide slope automatically. Some piloting (*gasp*) is indeed re...

Re: Why does the cabin door automatically close?

when the engine is running the prop wash will close your door its a feature not a bug as Microsoft would say :D It's always amusing when people think accuracy is a bug. We are so used to things being portrayed wrong in other addons that we start to think it's wrong when it's actually getting it rig...

Re: Sound Issue -- Stops in External Views !

I had that once with the Comanche as well, right after changing some graphics settings. It happened with other aicraft as well (with the FlyInside B-47 for example), so I don't think that's a Comanche issue but rather an MSFS issue.

Well the Comanche is the first of the newer fleet so we just might be back on that path back to the good days
Here's hoping that path winds towards the Piper Cub at some point, hopefully sooner than later. :)

Re: Those little touches…

The fuel gauge needles move around as the fuel sloshes around during the take off roll, for example.

Also, there seems to be a click spot on every gauge, which makes me think that stuck needles might be a thing. That's unconfirmed, though.

Re: Blue Exhaust Bubbles

I haven't checked yet (my monitor died today, waiting for a replacement arriving on Tuesday) but is that smoke also modelled on the external model or only on the tablet? And if the latter, will external smoke effects be added later?

Re: AccuSim Comanche unexpected engine failure in flight captured

Looks like the cause for this was the oil pump failing ... he already had lubrication issues on the ground, that's why his cylinder head temps were so high at idle/low power. And then it finally gave up completely, with a sudden drop in oil pressure. At that moment the engine was toast.

Re: World Tour Resumed in Style!

Doing a wolrd tour as well, I'm flying back up north following the Andes after checking out the cape Horn. Landed at the Linares municipal airfield, a bit south of Santiago, Chile today; we might cross path if you keep going south following the coast :) Hehe! Godspeed on your travels. I'm currently...

Re: Aircraft surrounded by five ground crew on loading.

Thanks for the detective work on this one guys, good to know the culprit as no doubt others will run into the same issue. Must admit, it had us puzzled for a while! Cheers, Nick That's only half the solution, though. Today I was surrounded by 5 non-military marshallers at ORBX Santa Barbara A...

Re: My First A2A Repaint Since 2016!

Very nice! Apparently it is possible to paint the gaps between the flaps/ailerons and the actual wings without mismatches. I was struggling with that so far and need to have a closer look.
