The 109's have a round shaped canopy, so it can't be E-4 (?). It also doesn't seem to have the 20mm wing guns that E-3 had. Wouldn't that make it E-1? And wouldn't that make it pre-BoF? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JG_77 JG77 seems to have only one Knight's Cross awarded in 1940. It was awarded to O...

There's a "making of" documentary on the dvd. It's really quite interesting. For instance they only had a couple of flyable Spitfires, so they had to attach digitally different shot of these couple of Spits to create an impression of the whole flight (?) taking off.

impossible isnt a real word, a small electric motor geared to run slowly although alot of work is entirly possible, although 1/48th would be a beter scale for such a project I do apoligize for my clumsy choice of words... :D What I meant to say was naturally "it would hardly be a practical sol...

Ok, so they'll pull it away, for they would already have started the engine  Thank you! It just hit me looking at your wonderful piece of work, that it is, of course, impossible to have a rolling propeller. So to make it look more believable I'd have the trolly by the AC or going towards them...

Looks interesting! If they only went easy on the animation. Don't try to make the air combat look like action film, but rather - air combat. It's hard to make the manouvres look realistic when animating. Btw is that a German production? After "Das Boot", I'm willing to prefer a German view...

Hi gents, if the only films we can have are going to be like "Pearl Harbour", "Top Gun" or "Flyboys" and other crappy productions as we had in the last 20 years, I fear we'll have to give up. "Battle of Britain" "The Battle of Midway", "Tora To...

I don't think it should be about the technical details of flying. I just don't think it should be a movie about Hollywood crap either. I mean you can make movies with insight and you don't always have to go for the easiest solutions when making a script, the ones you've seen a million times. Look at...

OT: they got me!

Yup, I'm the most recent victim of a motion picture called "Flyboys". I am sorry to inform you, that I rented the film yesterday. It was utter crap! How can anyone compile all the annoying clichés of war movies in just one single film?! The duell between the hero and the "evil enem...

My AV was NorMAN, not NorTON, but your advice could be solid anyhow. Just saying that those AV programs can be real b*tches all round.

It seems these AV programs can be a bit difficult. I had Norman AV installed on my machine when I bought it. I had so much trouble getting it to update, that I finally decided to remove it from my HD and get F-Secure. It wasn't that easy. Even though I thought I had removed Norman, it still presente...
