Operation Bolero

TBeen I have the exact same problem; Bit-O-Lace will not come up. I spent hours carefully downloading planes, repaints, and scenery, not to mention the time I spent slowly following all the instructions to get it right. The other problem I found was trying to fly formation with another like airplane...

Carrier Aircraft

Hey Guys, I must agree that Shockwave is the premier WWII aircraft builder. So much detail and quality for such a reasonable price tag. My christmas wish list is for WoP to release a box set of "Carrier Warbirds of WWII". This set would include the following: Chance-Vought F4U Corsair Doug...

P-47 Rocket Tubes!

Harold, Download the Version 1.1 update to the P-47. On the 2D panel there is now an icon to drop the rocket tubes. On the lower portion of the instrument panel, in the 3D cockpit are the releases for the bombs and belly tank. You can now fly slick wing if you wish. You do not have to change airplan...

CH Multi Throttle Set-up

Lewis, Did you sucessfully get your CH Multi-Throttles set-up? I have the same throttles and I love them. They work great when taxing multi engine tail wheel aircraft like the B-17, R4d/DC-3/C-47, etc. Just alittle differential braking and differential throttles and around the turn she goes! I downl...

Saving Info For Downloadable Airplanes

Point Man, I know it sounds alittle old fashion, but I print out all my emails for every plane I buy and download over the net. If my hard drive crumps then I just go back to my trusty old paper file and find the email for when I bought the plane. The email usually includes payment, order number, an...

WWII Bases

Hey Point Man, I think your idea of having a central site to download WWII airfields from is an excellant one. I currently fly my Wings of Power B-17, B-24, P-47, P-51, and Spitfire, along with my MAAM B-25, and C-47, and a freeware P-38 and a Hawker Hurricane out of Deenethorpe, Bassingbourn, and P...

Operation Bolero

Has anyone else out there tried Torben Schioler's Operation Bolero Boeing B-17 and Lockheed P-38 ferry flights from WWII USA bases to England? This program can be downloaded (freeware) from FlightSim.com. The file is bolerol.zip. This program will require Wings of Power B-17 as a minimum to start. F...

How to post Avitar's

Does anyone know how to contact the Board Administrator? I have been unable to post a small pic 120x90 and no more than 15kb to my profile. I made a 120x90 4.5kb jpg file and avatars would not download it from my computer. I tried changing the jpg extension to bmp and avastars still would not take i...

P-51 Altitude Problems

Hey Meso and Red Rooster:

Thanks for the information on the Auto Mixture setting. I checked the box for Auto Mixture in FS 2004 then Took the P-51 all the way up to 35,000 feet with no problems at all. I appreciate your help!

Thanks again,
Cliff :P

P-51 Altitude Problem

P-51 Altitude Problem: Does any one else have problems trying to get the P-51 to climb above 11,500/12,000 feet? It says not to use carb heat above 12,000 feet so I turned it off to see if that was the problem, but the plane will just not fly at altitude. I even went to the FS 2004 map page and took...
