I wonder if it has something to do with the resolution youre running at. I noticed that after upgrading to a 22inch monitor at 1680x1050 I no longer can zoom back like I could to the fov you mention when running at 1024x768

Merlin, do you hear the inertial starter wind up or is there no sound when you hold the switch to the left?

When you blow your turbo with the new 1.1 patch, you will hear the sound of the actual blowout everytime you switch views and then return back to the VC. Unless that's a safety mechanism to encourage us not to break them in the first place!

Is the old 1.2 patch still necessary to install when updating to the native FSX versions of the P-51, 109, or spit?

Have you tried locking frame rates to anywhere from 18-30? This should smooth things out quite a bit if youre getting frames up to 60 but choppy flight. There is also a program called FPS limiter which will allow FSX to run unlimited frames which improves frames but then locks the frame rate from th...

You may have damaged them from having them down at excess speeds. The default FSX flight in air over Friday Harbor will do this to me as the plane soon enters a 250mph dive with wheels down. After that, when trying to raise the gear you can see them just shake.
