Re: A2A and DCS
Over the past few years, I've found myself less interested in games of 'kill or be killed' and find myself playing games more orientated towards survival, or logistics of some sort. The Long Dark and Take On Mars for instance. Perhaps an injection of Accu-sim into DCS would revive my killer instinc...

Re: So what's the Verdict?
We still have to be careful about what we say publicly because of some competitors out there watching every word we say. Scott. Yes, I'd say the competition looks closely to what you say but also to what we say... Milviz, the closer competitor to A2A, has released these recent months all the aircra...

Re: A New GA Destination - TAG
Thank you for the headup ! If you like that kind of airport, some years ago I did Harlan County KY (I35) in the Black Mountains which is kind of a land aircraft carrier :) . The default is awful. I moved the airport to its RW coordinates, did some heavy mending of the mesh and added two dozens objec...

Re: A2A and DCS
A little while ago there was a bit of scuttlebutt about A2A liaising with Eagle Dynamics. Any truth in this? Any likelihood of it happening? It would be tremendous to have the P-40 and the T-6, to name but two, in DCS A scuttlebutt hey ? I admit I had to look into the Webster :D . My little, how do...

Re: Will microsoft flight sim 2020 use less ram
Hi will microsfot flight sim 2020 use less ram because it is using Satallite data (AZURE AI) Thanks Paul 1/ Nobody knows. 2/ From my experience, I'd say that no less than 16 Gb on the main board and 12 Gb on the video card will be advisable , specially if you are a little sloppy managing windows. 3...

Re: A2A for DCS ?
A first world dilemna, Paul :) . Milviz has released its bird. I am very cautious. They do SP packs to correct the main flaws of a first release then pass to another project. We are far from the A2A continuous upgrading of Accusim. Their F-100 is not bad but I am not sure I would have bought it aft...

Re: A2A for DCS ?
In a way, some of you raise an interesting dilemna : if A2A was transporting its T38A to both DCS and P3D, which one would you choose ?
One thing I see in the L-39 is that some characteristics of the flight are the same in P3D and DCS, but not the feel ...

Re: A2A for DCS ?
You have a point here, can't say that you are wrong. I don't fly on-line and FS then P3D has been and still will be my main sim. The DCS maps are a little limited in scope and quality but the aircraft are superb. I sweat mastering flying the circuit with the L-39, a really good older jet. There is ...

Re: A2A for DCS ?
OK, sorry for the misunderstanding from my side too., Volker DCS is primarily focused on aircraft and on, not action, but missions. You define what the missions are. You can enjoy their birds from the only point of view of flying an aircraft without any military dimension. You do that with A2A magn...

Re: A2A for DCS ?
I am not sure that I understand which licence you bought as the basic game is free and there is no scenery for Austria in DCS. It comes with the Caucasus region and two aircraft ( a Su-25 and a TF-51). You download it and run the .exe. Esay peasy. It gives you plenty to do. If you want to go furthe...

Re: A2A for DCS ?
The only thing that would limit me from wanting GA airplanes in DCS is the limited airspace that is available, It seems they have had discussions wih OrbX too Yes they have but I would most likely see that as re-texturing existing maps or texturing future maps, I don't think they would be making th...

Found that at Avsim on the DCS forum.

I don’t do Facebook myself it seems a pic out of A2A FB page.

Re: A2A for DCS ?
Ooo! Froogle mentioned in his new video look at MSFS2020 that DCS has the highest proportion of study level aircraft of any sim. No idea if this is true, but it is very interesting. And A2A makes good study level aircraft. Interesting times ahead. Hook I am rediscovering DCS and sweating to learn t...
