Re: Comanche 250 Yoke hide problem in P3Dv4
Are you sure the controls lock is not in place? If it is, it won't allow you to remove the yokes until you remove the controls lock first (because the controls lock is simply a bungee cord holding the yokes together )

Re: Oct. 2017 Update Install Issue
The update is very small for P3D v4 because the P3D v4 installers are much newer and have updates rolled into them.

Re: For those of you who don't get over to SOH much.
Wow  That's quite the home simulator... One thing I find so attractive about building a full two seater simulator of some kind (a tubeliner like this, for example) would be being able to sit down with a friend and 'sim' together. Basically just being able to share the hobby with someone right...

Re: T-6 prop blades fold backwards over the cowl. Why?
The gear and prop are connected in that if the gear goes up while you're on the ground, the prop will strike the ground :P So it's a good idea to make sure that your sim is configured properly (having a non-default flight set is a common cause) to avoid this happening under otherwise normal circumst...

Re: Plane spins when starting motor
Happy New Year all! I think the content of this last post from NickM should get added into the FAQs. Agreed.. it's quite a common problem, either user has 4.0 but installed the Accu-sim 4.1 update, has 4.1 but did NOT install the Accu-sim update, or has attempted to update P3D from 4.0 to 4.1 but P...

Re: Plane spins when starting motor
Hi there ;D At first, for all a Happy New Year 2018 ;D OK, now I have the same problem, I use the P3D 4.1 actual Update install. The problem I have with the Comanche 250, Cessna 172, Cessna 182 and the Cherokee too. Now my question, how can I fix it ? Install the Accusim update here: http://www.a2a...

Re: Serrated shadows
Hi florence, The only setting in P3D v4 that controls how "jagged" the shadows are (it's actually the resolution of the shadows that makes them seem more or less jagged) is the "shadow quality" setting in the graphics options in P3D v4. If they're already on high or ultra setting...

I would definitely check out OpenLC NA. It's a huge upgrade for the entirety of North America, and with Global Vector, some areas look as good as their full region products.

Re: My experience with Creators Update and Nvidia Inspector
You can't use the Nvidia control panel to enhance FSX because its profile, by default, has a property that prevents AA settings from being enforced. So you need to use Inspector to turn that setting off.

Re: My experience with Creators Update and Nvidia Inspector
I found a post on the Nvidia forums that revealed a way to fix your Inspector profile to work again (by the way, on my PC, NI worked as expected in windowed mode but did not apply settings when FSX was in full screen mode.) Towards the top of the profile settings in your FSX Inspector profile you wi...
