Re: fsx Reno Air Races
I would try removing unnecessary files elsewhere on your hard drive. Saved pictures, screenshots, unused programs, etc. is where I would go to try free up space.

Re: Got My Instrument Rating!
Thanks for the kind words everyone! Congratulations! Seems like just yesterday you were writing about fair weather hops out of Bend (Redmond?). Any plans on your next endorsement? Regardless, I think it is very cool to see someone dedicate the time and effort towards fulfilling their ambitions! Yes,...

Got My Instrument Rating!
Today is a wonderful day! I passed my instrument checkride with the FAA this afternoon! It more than a year of work and countless hours of study but I finally made it! I don't think it will sink in for a few more hours  Thanks to A2A for their role in my training in providing a great Skyhaw...

Re: Dusting off the B377
May I ask you how you managed to install B377 COTS in P3D??? All I did was put a dummy FSX.exe file into the main P3D file (I had FSX installed at the time I installed P3D so that's how I got the file). Then before I installed the B377 I changed the file name "Lockheed Martin" to "Mi...

Dusting off the B377
Hello all, After all of the excitement over the announcement of the Connie I finally got around to getting my B377 COTS into P3D. It was great getting back into it after such a long time. Out of practice, I accidentally loaded passengers when the cabin was still cold and Heidi said, "I can't se...

A2A warbirds out on a Saturday
Hello all! Anyone else flying their A2A warbirds this weekend? I've fallen in love with mine all over again now that I'm in P3D. Just a couple shots from today. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e393/flyboy4612/2016-4-30_18-9-41-851%202_zpshtsqunjk.png http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e393/flyboy46...

I want the Texan so much!!! But it was either P3D or the Texan. It's hard to justify multiple flight sim purchases at once to the wife

B-17 in P3D = Awesome
Hello! I bought P3D the other day finally making the jump from FSX and am I glad I did! I got most everything transferred over from FSX (lost a few things) but I got some of my ORBX loaded up as well as my A2A planes. I couldn't resist taking up the B-17 to explore around Mt. Shasta. I wish I had ma...

Re: My A2A Aircraft and P3D
It took a few hours of research but I finally figured out how to get my A2A birds in P3D and they work great. So far I have my P-51 and C-172. My project now is figuring out how to get ORBX and REX that I own for FSX into P3D.

My A2A Aircraft and P3D
So I made the decision to get the academic version of P3D. So, do I have to re-buy all of my existing A2A aircraft I have for FSX and get the P3D version?

Re: FSX to P3D
Thanks for the replies! I wasn't aware that there was a trial for P3D. I'm going to be working on my real world commercial license soon (just as soon as a wrap up my instrument) and will be going CFI after that. Having a good sim at home is really helpful. The one at the airport with full cockpit an...

FSX to P3D
Hello A2A community, I did a side job this past weekend and earned a few extra bucks. I was looking at buying the Texan which I want very much but have been looking pretty closely at moving from FSX to P3D. I've had FSX since it was brand new and like many of you, I have spend a lot of money on upgr...

My first real world IFR flight - Thanks A2A
Hello all! Yesterday I made another step at completing my real world instrument training and completed my long cross country requirement. The flight had to be over 100 NM straight line distance from home base, over 250 miles total, and had to include 3 different types of instrument approaches. I had...

Re: A question on A2A future aircraft
The first jet that they've been looking at is the P-80 Shooting Star. I don't have access to all the details but I believe that one is towards the back burner at the moment. I believe the team is working pretty hard on their T-6 right now. There is also talk of the Piper Seminole for their first twi...
