Unrepairable Fuel Leak

Ready to do a flight this afternoon; that means that I did a PreFlight check first (all OK); invited my co-pilot to take his seat; filled her up (the fuel tank that is) with fuel and noticed my oil tank was completely empty. Filled her up and as soon as I had done so, the oil disappeared entirely. N...

Re: Flight1 GTN patch

Thanks very much to keep us informed, Joediamond. Have downloaded and installed the patch and it works fine. Especially the on/off connected to avionics is a big improvement.

Re: Missing bolts!

Glad I wasn't the only one. That was the reason why I started this topic. Only a complet overhaul solved the problem, because there wasn't any red alert while in the maintenance hangar. I guess there're not that many who encounter the same problem. Must be a bug?

Re: Missing bolts!

Hi CFLORD, http://www.fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2014/12/05/4Q2n9.jpg This is what the mechanic showed me in the hangar, after having repaired my Skylane. Your message explaines why he stood looking very surprised when he found this broken trimtab bolt at a few meters distance from my plane...

Re: Missing bolts!

That's what I initially did. Been there before to do some maintenance, but no red alert. Could be because the trimtab isn't showing in the picture while in the hangar; I don't know. Issued the mechanic the order to do a complete overhaul. Mission accomplished, she's in perfect shape again. What rema...

Missing bolts!

Hallo guys, Having noticed in earlier messages that you're curious what parts (major important or not) of the C180T could get lost: this is what I missed today during a flight, which caused me to force her down. I really don't know how this happened; the bolt was definitely there during precheck. Th...

C182 Aircraft Configurator_FSX: no results!

Just like the C172 and the Piper Cherokee, I couldn't wait to try them out and so far I love them flying. Just purchased the C180 a few days ago and because of its perfect behaviour I decided to spent some extra money on buying the Flight1 GTN750. During the installation all went well. After that I ...

Maintenance guarantee?

Dear Sirs, I'm the proud owner of a used Cherokee, which I purchased several months ago at A2Asimulations. After about 15 hours of testflying - without any significent problems, I decided to make a long desired trip: the MacRobertson Air Race, also known as the London-Melbourne Air Race, approximate...

Re: Saitek Trim Wheel/Cherokee Input Configurator - FSX Rest

Hi HighAlpha,

Don't ask what lies behind, but to resolve this issue, which I've encountered too some months ago, just activate the trimwheel before starting FSX by turning it untill, in my case, windows8.1 gives a sound warning that it's been recognized!

Hopes this works for you too!

Re: My take on voice activated checklists

Thanks very much, 'SouthPawPaul' for your amazing job. I had version2 installed this morning, curious to see if it worked. It works great. You did put a lot of effort in this and I'm sure that all those with the same speechrecognition problem will appreciate it.

Re: My take on voice activated checklists

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried it out but it won't work. The problem is that speechrecognition isn't supporting the Dutch language. It does for a few other, like Chinese! 8), but that will not do either. So it seems that the only solution is to upgrade Windows7 or to reinstall it completely. No...

Re: My take on voice activated checklists

What a big disappointement.... I really was looking forward to install and tryout your magnificent looking Voice Checklist. Having read all the information and watched all the video's, I was planning to check it out this afternoon. Unfortunately. .. the Dutch installed Windows7 (Home Premium) OS doe...

Re: kAP 140 autopilot: step by step?

OK, it took me quiet some time to realise that perhaps one particular addon might interfer with the AP! A few weeks back I solved a simular problem by removing plan-G from my desktop, while a normally used it on my remote laptop. So in a very clear moment I thought, everything else was worn out, let...

Re: kAP 140 autopilot: step by step?

Tried out a few flights and again no results to handle the AP properly, in spite of all the suggestions made in the former forum messages! Further more I noticed some minor issues: the ADF-button doesn't work anymore (initially it did respond by lighting up) while ADF is still active; in the 'Quick ...

Re: kAP 140 autopilot: step by step?

Thanks for your contribution, J van E! My computer is only equiped and used for FSX with controlers that so far didn't cause any problems with other addons. Complicated aircrafts f.i. The PMDG B738NG have no problems what so ever with the CH yoke, saitek rudder pedals and TrackIR (the last one not u...
