Re: New aircart suggestion
To comment on saying the Aerosoft Catalina's engine management is Accu-sim like is a little bit of an over statement. Being an owner of the 377, ,P47, and a tester of the PBY-5A. Accu-sim is in a league of it's own. The full scope of engine management isn't finalized yet. The things so far are the e...

Re: Repaint WIP and a question about file size.
Just wanted to bump this back up to the top to keep interest going. Was wondering if you made anymore progress on the fictional reno racer?

Re: A2A Simulations Update 02/03/09 - Stangs and Cubs
I'll help get it back on topic. Woohoo for the WoP P-51D. I got the free one that came with the Wings of Power disc that I bought at Gamestop, compared to the 377 and P-47 it has begun showing it's age. That new rendition is smokin though. Definately will get that the moment it is released.

Nice repaints. I like the large amount of wear on the window frame of the dark green one. I was wondering, what program do you use? Want to take a crack at making some paints myself.

Re: Lingering sound after shutdown
Depending on what airport you are at there might be some AI traffic taxiing around somewhere in the backround. I usually fly out of Craig Mun (KCRG) and there is usually at least 1 or 2 planes taxiing around the field that I can always here at start up/shut down. Whenever I go to smaller airports wh...

Re: Announces: Another new Razorback pilot!
Great job on the repaint. Is nice to see so many people are having fun doing fictional paints for this bird. Certaintly is a fun and challenging aircraft to fly.

Thats a nice looking paint with the flames on it. If there's still a lot of work to go can't wait to see what the end product looks like.

Re: Request For Paint
That aircraft is smokin  . With the red stenciling it reminds me of a P-61 Black Widow. I really think it looks great in those shots in the kind of matte/flat black with the wear. No aircraft is going to be in perfect paint for long. I know this from being an aircraft painter. You can paint a...

Re: Request For Paint
Yeah I knew details were harder to see in black. The good thing with FSX though is the bump mapping so that way you can still see panel lines and things still cause they aren't just part of the texture.

Re: Request For Paint
That is pretty good actually. I like the fact that it still has the red on the inboard side of the wings. Looks just as good as I imagined. Thank you for taking the time to do it.

Request For Paint
This might be a little in bad taste, but I mainly fly my P-47D-D23 like it's my own private plane from point A to point B. Was wondering if anyone would be interested in taking the time to make me just a gloss black plane? Don't want any markings or anything besides just the rivets and panel lines. ...

Re: Boy, I have to say...
I would have to agree that thanks to A2A almost every other aircraft I have is exceptionally boring. Nothing really compares to the 377 or P47 as far as personality and pilot work load goes. I either fly those 2 aircraft or my MD-11. For me flying something without the procedures/realistic failures ...

Re: Question Regarding Fuel/External Tanks
Is about what I figured. Is just a bad habit I have I suppose. The Stratocruiser doesn't have external tanks so I've never had this type of problem before. But when I load up the 3 150gal tanks it does show 100% fuel load for everything. So I just load her up with the 150's to make my refueling easi...
