Re: Looking for a Good Base Airport for my P-47

Can I just do the easy ones please? I forgot where they all go, now... - Anything with a yellow and black chequered nose goes at RAF Raydon (no page, temporary link on the front of the site). - The 30Sq RAF repaint goes, sort of, at the fictional Khowpur Valley FOB. - "My Gal Sal" i...

Re: Comparison

It certainly isn't a "ctrl-e" aircraft. Nowhere near as much systems depth as the Accu-Sim ones, for obvious reasons, but nonetheless, there are plenty of switches and buttons to click - even if they don't have the desired effect yet.

Re: P-47 REPAINTS LIST

As far as I know, the scouts only flew P-51's (and I've painted a few), but if you have pictures saying otherwise.... No pics unfortunately, but according to Ken Delve's East Midlands tome, the 355th FG (comp. 344th, 357th & 358th FS) flew P-47s from Steeple Morden from mid 1943 to mid 1944, wh...

Re: 353rd FG

It is a pain having to install all those files. Unfortunately my modelling skills are non-existent and I haven't got permission to bundle the libraries in with the downloads, so I'm a bit stuck with what I can and can't do. Sorry about that. :( There seem to be a little horde of people doing WW2 air...

Re: 353rd FG

You appear to be missing a T.2 hangar there, FreqE1.

It might not bother you, but otherwise you might like to install Ted Andrews's RAF Hangars Library, if you want them back.

Cheers,

Re: 353rd FG

Hijacking Jan's thread, but it's probably the best place to sneak this in while no-one is looking... I've given the 353rd yellow and black chequered noses somewhere to live. No page for it yet, but the file is uploaded. If you don't like it, it's fairly easy to get rid of too. http://www.i...

Re: 377 Joystick Config Error

The issue that caused me the most amusement was that I had the B377s set up with their own specific section in FSUIPC - i.e. with aircraft specific control settings. The problem with this (which I've noticed in a number of other aircraft as well) is that it takes a few seconds after the aircraft is ...

Re: 377 Joystick Config Error

Hi Rob, I've done a lot of testing with the system - the throttles have now started working again of their own volition, for no apparent reason, but there are a number of issues with it and FSUIPC that basically means I have set up a separate copy of FSX.exe specifically for the B377 (i.e. creating ...

377 Joystick Config Error

Hi folks, I thought I'd offer this one up to the table, as whatever has happened, it's a good one! I installed SP1, loaded the B377 with Accusim and the throttles were not responding (they worked fine on every other aircraft I tried) so, after consulting the oracle that is Lewis ( ) down S...
