Re: Feature request/idea

It is indeed possible. You'd have to do it yourself by repainting, though. I do this to all my airplanes, as I want them to be reflecting my operation, as well as highlighting the powerplant limits. This also makes it much easier to at a glance check that everything is indeed "in the green"...

Re: Who is using a force feedback yoke?

It is quite a bit easier to set the FFB for airliners or generally for aircraft with hydraulically boosted controls from my experience. Erik, do you mind sharing one of your profiles for any A2A bird please, I am having serious trouble to use my yoke to the full extent that I think is possible and ...

Re: Who is using a force feedback yoke?

I've been using a Brunner Yoke since 2017, and Brunner Rudders since 2020. They are extremely expensive, I'll grant that, but the "texture" and feel of the whole thing + the precision... well, nothing comes close when springs/rubber bands are doing the work. I've found that many users of F...

Re: Comanche 400 on it's way

Oh, man. I had my credit card ready when I saw the thread title. You're not the only one... Oh, Scott, I hope you can find the time/effort/love for another 400, as just the sound of the engine itself is enough to get me teary eyed with joy. Have a listen to this, folks, recorded from the wheel well...

Re: VIDEO: From the sim T-6 to the real thing

Great video! Though I felt that the cockpit checkout must have felt like: "Oh yeah? The airspeed indicator shows what? Oh, speed. In the air. Gotcha!" After my first flight in a real GA-aircraft I felt that exact same thing. Everything looks and behaves like the sim, but he "feeling&q...

Re: A2A Aerostar flights

Fantastic video, again! So much detail do be discussing, even just looking outside. I have one question, Scott: "Free" supercharging. I'm simply wondering how it affects the combustion when the air is warmed by coming through the cowling. It might not have an effect, but maybe it does? (I'...

Re: A2A Aerostar flights

1. The discussion on priming, and how engine personality / temperature affects the needed priming Already supported in Accu-Sim :) 2. The difference in fuel pressure (or at least the gauges showing different readings) when the fuel boost is on This is a huge part of multi engine piloting being able...

Re: A2A Planes for new 2020 Flightim

We are hoping MSFS2020 will soon allow us to use Accu-Sim as Lockheed Martin Prepar3D does. We expect it will happen but we are dependent on them making this possible. Scott Is there anything we as users can do to help speed this along, or are they aware of your existence and needs for AccuSim? Pil...

Posted a new video with Jake and I getting re-acclimated to the aircraft. Rather than make a new global post I just added this one to the original post. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z02RBHf4jro Scott Thanks a Googolplex for this video! Re: A2A Aerostar first flight

What a fantastic update! And, of course Murphy's law as far as the cameras of course. Hope your testing goes well, and that you find time to "just" fly and enjoy the plane as well. That shot of the takeoff from the ramp at Simsbury! Damn! Looked like a rocked launch! Is this plane connecte...

Re: Mike Patey - Scrappy Roars to Life

I just can't see a scenario where we don't make a Comanche 400. Scott Neither can we. But in the meantime, give us some behind the scenes shots from starting up/working on the 400. That one video of the run-up... well... let's just say I've watched it about 40,000 times of the almost 17,000 views i...
