Re: [FSX] 2 issues with 18.12.22.0 update
I'm curious as well. I personally can't get the GTN to work at all, even with combo units. I've tried a few things. So my B35 has been in the hangar for weeks.

Re: Dillon to Missoula
I love these kind of flights, but in the real world it's a death wish, lol.

Re: Colgan Air Flight 3407
Yes I remember it well. I was flight simming back then too. It's a strange case indeed. To simply leave the power at idle until you stall. What were they doing? They were good at pushing the condition levers up, selecting flaps and other things. IDK, tragic mistake.

Re: Flight 1 GTN
The last update broke the GTN 750 from both vendors as a VC clickable device. Hopefully they fix this in the new update. Not sure why a 3rd party add-on is broken, but it's the .cfg file that's broken.

Flight 1 GTN 750
So tonight the RXP failed to work even after using the installer menu that had worked before. IOW, the FSX menu that allows for window location had previously let me run then the RXP would allow VC operation. Tonight that stopped working. So I decided to revert back to the Flight One GTN 750. That d...

Re: [FSX] 2 issues with 18.12.22.0 update
You can get the GTN750 working in VC by running the setup menu at the top. Same place FSUIPC and other modules are found. Then select the window, one GTN, size (1:1) and location on screen. Save that setting and it'll start working in the sim as before. Pup up in the same and the VC is clickable. I ...

Re: Update and RXP
Yes, RXP GTN 750. I have the F1 version, but I didn't want to use it. I managed to fix it late last night by running the RXP configuration tool. That allowed me to actually click the screen, then I had to reselect the options for TAWS and other fields. My camera is EZCA (Ezdok), the first version. I...

Update and RXP
Now the RXP GTN no longer functions in the sim. The whole unit has reverted to re-install state and the click spots are not working, at all. Plus, why do I have to reprogram all my camera settings each time an update comes out? It's getting very frustrating to lose my viewpoints as well as third par...

Re: Update Query
Nope
The taxi/night light is a mess and the inability to see the fuel selector makes it not worth messing with at night. Bummer

Update Query
Just wanted to see if a couple items are gonna be on the update list. I'm in FSX:SE at the moment, and although I plan to upgrade to P3D, it won't be for several months at this point. In the meantime, the issue of not being able to see the fuel selector at night. Also, in FSX the taxi/landing lights...

Re: Have you ever landed at the wrong airport?
Since it's all sim time, I don't know for sure. I probably have, but GPS and other modern navigation methods have helped with this on my end. Interestingly, the day I flew into PAMR (Merrill Field) in Alaska. It's right next to PANC and Elmendorf AFB. You can easily recognize PANC, but I've never la...
