Re: Lost effects?

Ok. I didn't install both download packages and therefore most sounds and some light effects weren't there. Installing both fixes that issue. But I think it's quite confusing with the installation sequence. First: One of the file is named wos_377_v2_full.exe. That suggests only this one is needed. S...

Re: Performance? Connie vs. 377 or P51

Thanks for your reply.

SIM=FSX SE
VIDEO CARD= integrated (see CPU)
CPU=i3-7100 3.9 ghz
OPERATING SYSTEM=win10
RAM=4 gb
ANTI VIRUS USED=none

Yes - that's far away from a gaming machine. But as I said, 377 COTS and P51 civ are running very well.

Performance? Connie vs. 377 or P51

Hey guys, I've a quite modest PC system but the P51 civ and the 377 COTS running suprisingly smooth within FSX SE and Activy Sky 2016 and ultimate traffic live. With the Skylane it's just "ok" and with the Bonanza it's absolutely not smooth. So I really would like to try the connie now. Please could...

Re: Lost effects?

Same to me!

Win10 clean
FSX SE clean
1920x1080
no DX10
A2A 377 COTS
no other addons or tweaks

Everything's running fine but no engine sounds, no cabin light, beacon an strobe lights barely visible (no cones etc.).

Any ideas or solutions on this?

Thanks in advance,
Denis

Re: Install Procedures

Hey guys,

I want to use 377 COTS with FSX SE.

I've got two files to download: wos_377.exe and wos_377_v2_full.exe. Am I right with installing only the second one?
The first one is asking for either FSX SP2 or FSX Acceleration.

Thanks in advance,

Re: Wheel Chocks not saved...

Hey Will,

she's wearing down from usage - clear! But will she age over time while not used in sim as the GA series do?

Re: Cub vs. Mustang - sim performance (fps)?

Thanks for your reply.

But maybe I wasn't clear enough: The Mustang is performing quite good with my rig and settings. The other mentioned ones not so smooth. For me the question is how's the cub relative to the civilian Mustang?

Thanks again,
Zacke

Cub vs. Mustang - sim performance (fps)?

Hey guys,

I've a really modest PC rig but I've got the civ mustang running quite smooth within FSX SE. I also bought the Bonanza, C182 and B17 and that's also the order they perform fps wise.

Do you have any experience how the Cub's performing under the same circumstances?

Thanks in advance,
Zacke

Re: Wheel Chocks not saved...

Confirmed, If you select "C&D" you get hydraulic system relived and the chocks in place, but they are not saved like in GA planes. I think the T6 is the first warbird that inherited the continuous ageing and safe state of the GA family. After a certain recent update A2A team confirmed that the old ...

Re: How persistent is the P51?

So am I on the save side when I do the following: Not saving after a flight with the P51 and with the next fsx start setting up a complete fresh flight (with standard aircraft) and then - when fsx is completely started - I choose the P51? So I don't have any strange behaviour? It's not so important ...

Re: How persistent is the P51?

Ok. Now I've found a lot of other threads converning this saving things.

But it's still not quite clear to me. What happens if I save my P51 flight as default flight start up with this next time?

Thanks,
Zacke

Re: How persistent is the P51?

Lewis, thanks for your fast reply.

Why not as default flight? I use not to use the start screen of FSX but let it always automatically load my last flight I saved as default. Doesn't that work?

Could you please explain what stuff is saved by A2A besides the standard FSX flt.

Thanks again,
Zacke

How persistent is the P51?

Hey guys, came back to the civilian P51 after years and felt in love again with this wonderfull monster. :P I'm wondering what exactly is saved in the A2A log files besides fluid levels and wear of the various system components. As far as I know switch positions aren't saved. So I tend to hit the co...

Re: Where's A2A's home airport?

Thanks for your answer!

Unbelievable it's name is SIMSbury!

But now I remember. I also picked up the cherokee from Bradley (KBDL) some years ago. But I didn't lance it to bring it do EDNY. What a pity the flight sim hobby isn't really compitabile with my real life.

Where's A2A's home airport?

Hey guys,

don't want to stalk you but I wonder where's the home airport of A2A simulations.

I just love the idea of virtually picking up my new planes there an bringing them home to my home base. :D

Thanks in advance,

Zacke
