for STOL fans

Wow the Storch is so rad. I had no idea. I learned all kinds of things in this thread so far to. Including about pterodactyl, how to spell it, design history and that the Chancellor of Germany flew in a Connie. Really cool to see that there. Whenever I get back to Florida, I'm definitely stoping at ...

Re: Fire-Fighting Howitzer Round

So, thinking about this further, instead of a land based gun, what about focusing on something like the 105mm that's in the AC-130?

And maybe even having some kind of scatter bombs.

I don't know if that really helps the scramble time but... If it the plane was already loaded.

Re: for STOL fans

Oh btw I'm sure you meant Just Aircraft and not Just Flight right   Roops. You got me. I'll edit that. Thanks. Thanks for the info. I'm not surprised it's all been done before. The wings made me think of Airliners and it's good to know that came from 1919  . I guess, I'm impre...

Flite Test - Flugtag Challenge

If you're into RC flight, you might know Flite Test. A great brand and people. I'm posting this here because I thought some of you would appreciate what they were able to accomplish based on their RC building knowledge an materials. Taking 1st place in the Red Bull Flugtag in Boston, and for $500 to...

for STOL fans

A rad ride and cool little overview of the Just Aircraft Super STOL. It's amazing to see the STOL market evolve and what they can do. That leading edge is crazy.

Re: Fire-Fighting Howitzer Round

Yea, cool! High tech balloon launcher.

Seems like a good fit for initial response, small and maybe a mop up jobs on Wild lands. Once Air and ground crews are inbound, it seems like not the best idea.

Fun tho. Thanks for the post.

Re: A2A Simulations vs P3D

I think it depends on what you're trying to achieve and the experience you want for your daughter. There are plenty of bells and whistles out there as ways to skin the cat. I live in the US and have the Saitek Cessna Yoke, Pedals and 1 throttle quadrant. That does me well for the 172. And with the A...

Re: What is this strange light on the right side of the cock

As Lewis said in the other post, there is no dynamic lighting in this sim. Only textures that get triggered. I thought about the fog also, but, to me it seems like a transparency texture that is over the black background. Point being to create a corner volume effect/reflected light. Is it there duri...

Re: What is this strange light on the right side of the cock

If you're talking about the glare on the windows, that's what it is. Reflected light.
