Re: C182 and Flight1 G1000

Was there a path developed to solve this issue? It affects a lot of hardware/software. It would seem to me that there are two paths 1, each hardware vendor special code to fit a2a or 2, a2a provide option to also provide an option to solve. In the former you have many companies needing to change and...

Re: P3D Cherokee Landing light does not illuminate the groun

Does that mean that the lights are enabled by default on the 180 and the mouse click problem is solved?

Re: P3D Cherokee Landing light does not illuminate the groun

Hi Lewis Running as administrator worked to correct problem with the c182 aircraft configurator. The buttons are now clickable. However I reran the latest update again (as administrator) to confirm that the option to enable the lights is only presented for the c172. As of now I do not see a way to e...

Re: P3D Cherokee Landing light does not illuminate the groun

Don't know if this is related but when I installed my a2a 180 into p3d 2.5 today I did not get the enable question for the landing lights. I did get it for the 172. For the C182, I ran the aircraft configure program but the buttons wouldn't change when I clicked on them. I think you might have some ...

Re: Great idea...you tell me

I hope this is a proper place for this post. I am very interested in getting to a real life scale in my setup.orginally I was headed to the 4k 65 to 70" TV route but at the time they just were not ready for this use as has been mentioned here with 30hz vs 60hz etc. about that time the dk2 oculus rif...

Illuminated Landing Lights

Just purchased and installed the 182. When I did the update it did not ask the question of if I wanted to enable the illuminated landing lights like it did for the 172 and 180? Has the potential problem been solved on the 182 or did you not include that option?

Thanks

P3D and the DCOC rift plugin

Has anyone tried the c172 using the rift and the DCOC plugin? If so, have you found a way to see the 2d panels?

Re: Lights on ground and latest update

I agree current resolution is to low and may need to be close to 4k. My problem is the c172 and piper are so good that I can't go back to the standard ones. I am looking for the most realistic experience I can find. I just think that because realism is A2A strength, it would benefit to be a leader i...

Re: Lights on ground and latest update

A little confused on the advanced vs regular lights. If you select disable to the question at installation will the landing lights show up on the ground? I have to disagree. Unless the serious sim market is a lot smaller than I thonk then you will see a hand solution for controls within a year. I ca...

Lights on ground and latest update

The latest update included a fix for the landing lights. Is that related to the enable/disable light on ground question you are asked in the update installation process? I had assumed it was the same problem and was surprised to see the question again. Also for P3D for both the piper and the c172, i...

Re: P3D v2 Throttle not working properly in C172

Did not know axis assignments in configurator were just for that plane. Will they override assignments in FSUIPC and/or P3D or do you have to remove them from FSUIPC and uncheck Enable Controls in P3D?

Oculus Rift and Leap Motion

Suggestion. A2A seems to be in a good position considering the detail and accuracy of thier planes, to take us to a new level in flight sims. A dedicated version devoted to VR ie Oculus Rift with a app for Leap Motion (or similar) so that in VR you see your hands and can flip switches, push buttons,...

Re: CTD on P3Dv2 Professional

Saw this on p3d forum. Related? I'm on my third flight and have seen no performance issues. Initially the aircraft crashed P3D until I had a look in the panel.cfg file: it had written in the RealityXP GNS gauges for some reason and as we know, they do not work (in P3D) and worse, crash the sim. Afte...

Re: KAP 140 autopilot FAQ

Are the AP on,hdg, nav, apr, rev, and alt commands listed in the input configurator using the same events as fsx (p3d). I am using the saitek multipanel and these switches appear to work using the standard fsx offsets? If so why are they in the configurator as I thought it was for events that are uniqu...
