NAV radiios

I've been using FSEconomy lately and in case anyone responding to this is not familiar with FSEconomy its basically a free community you can join and do flights and earn in game virtually money. one aspect of it is that you rent an available airplane and take an assignment and go fly it. among the a...

Re: Another texture problem

check your FSX cfg file. there should be items under "trusted" that might not be set to the right value. particularly anything that has to do with A2A "guages". their values should = 1 or 2. if there is a minus sign before the value, delete it and make it a 1 or 2 and see how that works. here's an e...

I have a question about throttle and prop adjustment. when you level off and are going to apply cruise settings, do you reduce the throttle or the prop first? And to begin a descent, which should you reduce first or should you just reduce throttle?

Re: update problems

no, one of the parameters under "trusted" in the fsx cfg file was a negative number when it should have been a positive number. I missed it at first look. imagine that.... ONE small detail and it reaked havoc on my A2A planes.

update problems

I just downloaded and installed this new update and having the same problem i had with the previous update. everything in the maintainence hangar destroyed, no sounds, and now upon loading the aircraft, it rolls forward and i have to actually hit the brakes to make it stop. Oil

How much oil should you have for normal flights in the 182? for instance on the 172 you should have 5 to 7 quarts.

Re: GPS options

oh ok, are they a separate purchase? and where do you purchase them? one other question, what does that switch (slave and align) under the oil temp and pressure gauge do?

GPS options

not such a big deal, but i cant seem to get the other GPS's from the A2A aircraft configurator to work. they show up on the VC panel but some have no click spots and none of them other than the default GPS even turn on. i read some of the forum posts about these and tried some of the fixes but could...

Re: trim tab

hi speedy, yes i was able to resolve everything. the problem was a few settings in the FSX cfg file. Under "trusted", anything to do with "guages" or "sim objects" i think has to be set to a value of 2, at least thats what i set them to and it worked. :D
