Simpleplanes, have you tried it?

I think it is an amazing game. I've owned it for a while but only now i really started to play with it. You can design your own airplanes. While the flight dynamics are very basic the things that are modeled are accurate enough. It's actually much complex as it first seems. If you know the basic stu...

Wing loading and turbulence

Hello. If we have one weather but multiple airplanes, would wing-loading be the most important figure to look at how much these planes suffer from turbulence/gusts etc? Sure there are other factors too but if we'd have to mention only one. I am asking this because today i was as a passenger in a Dou...

Anyone here use monstertech stands?

https://www.monstertech.de/en/product/j ... ble-mount/

I wonder how well it works for ~centered position when using with a joystick that has a large base, like T16000 or similar. Most installations seems to be left-right but i'd like the stick to be between my legs. Do they fit well?

Re: Dunkirk Movie – not recommended

Oh yeah - on the subject of swastikas - Game Developers don't have a choice on that. If they want to release their game in much of Europe, they are legally bound from using the swastika because of EU prohibitions against its use in any manner. So, don't blame the developers - blame the politicians....

Re: Dunkirk Movie – not recommended

Haven't seen the movie yet but will watch it eventually, not in theatre perhaps but from bluray or from netflix etc, if it has WW2 planes i'm in :D Anyway, about those "evil nazi swastikas".. i couldn't agree more. I HATE we cannot have proper historically accurate symbols in many games like IL2, DC...

Re: What sim are you flying most?

I'm still with FSX. I just don't find P3D so appealing i would see the trouble and paying for all the stuff plus i have decent local scenery for FSX that i am not sure of i can get for P3D. My FSX is very stable, never crashes, the gfx are decent enough etc.. when P3D offers better flight dynamics f...

Re: New Kermie Cam (P-51D part 3, must watch!)

I love kermit's videos but a little dissapointing to see that the viewing angle was not as awesome as it was with the C mustang where you could see the feet and hands in action pretty well. Generally speaking when it comes to aviation videos inside the plane i am more interested what happens inside ...

Re: Help with basic DME arc question

I am not sure but i think the VORTAC should give the DME...? Maybe it's a bug or your Cessna's transponder do not understand mil-spec dme or something =)

Anyone happen to own/have access to Logitech 280e keyboard?

If so, i would really appreciate if you would tell me can i do fps gaming and only in terms of key-roll over, ie, can it handle W SHIFT and SPACE simultaneously? Also i am interested in W shift and M combination. Suprisingly many basic keyboards can't handle those today but also very many of the che...

Re: Next GA Plane

A twin, seminole for example would be in order but i still wish that A2A's GA lineup is not all about "going more faster and more complex". I hope we will see something fixed pitch low powered accessible stuff too. I'd really love to see the C152 aerobatic someday for example.

Re: P3D V4 - what can we expect from addons

NO substantive FDE changes with v4 at this time - this iteration is focussed on the 64 bit transition, which is mostly about dll's and gauges, and further display optimisation. Yes this was something i already knew, or guessed. But my question was secretly aimed at A2A themselves, are they more cap...

P3D V4 - what can we expect from addons

I still use FSX rather than P3D. I've done so, because FSX to me is an A2A simulator only, and i really haven't seen those few graphical bonuses worth purchasing p3d multiple times, not to mention my a2a GA planes again. But will the v4 change this? Flight Dynamics are the most important thing to me...

Re: Flight Sim World

Yeah i just bought the FSW for a test ...

I have a GTX1070 and with maxed out i get 25-35fps or so... and the graphics ... are not very good .. very clear it will not replace fsx anytime soon for me, but as a platform it might get good. eventually.

Re: A2A support for FSW?

This is probably been discussed on another threads but .. i cannot see the "pure devil" of their rumoured official addon policy. I mean most of us could and would buy the addons directly from A2A, leaving DS and steam provisions out, to support the real developers. On the another hand, steam cut is ...

Re: A2A support for FSW?

So with the announcement that P3Dv4 being released on the 30th and A2A is committed to providing products on day 1, I haven't heard or seen anything mentioned about FSW. Instead of me speculating one way or the other, do we know yet how or if A2A will provide products for FSW? In my mind the answer...
