Re: New Microsoft Flight sim in 2020?

If this will be proper sequel for Fsx, with similar addon support etc... Then wow... Wwwoow... I so hope so. But too many dissappointments over the last few years keeps me down on ground for now. This would be what civilian flight sim community really needs, a truly modern flight sim with whole worl...

Plane mechanic simulator

Okay i know technically this should be on "other sim news" forum but since it's not a flight sim and most would miss it.. Anyway, the game is released, and it's a bargain, i personally got it for little over 4 euros! You can repair planes like Tiger Moth and Mk1 Spitfire, the modeling seems superb a...

Those accusim moments....

Doing a VOR approach with Bonanza in full IMC conditions... lots of things happening, i've just done a descenting turn and starting to config the plane for approach prior to Final approach fix, i am in a horry, bleeding speed off, lowering gear and immediately lowering flaps to 10, simulateosly i am...

Re: Motor cutt off when idle

I haven't really done any scientific tests but it feels that fine wire plugs do not differ at all from the massive ones on the Bo... Other a2a planes idle happily with fine wires though..

Re: Taxiing

I'll put one more video here of my Possessed Bo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34VhTBFeqDs& Note especially at 00:20s mark how violently the plane wants to go right, even when i have full left rudder applied, that's pretty nasty :D This time i had 7knot 9 knot gust wind. But in takeoff/landing rol...

Re: My new favorite A2A plane

There are two things i really love in Bonanza... One is the sound.. the engine sound. if i don't use headset, i feel (kind of) bad for my neighbour.... The other is how it feels to be in the air.. it rocks.. and yaws... in a whole new level imo... the landing flare requires more attention than ever....

Re: Taxiing

Thanks for posting the video. My eyes may be deceiving me, but it looks like your rudder pedals are being "tickled" very slightly, probably by noisy pots in your rudder pedals. Please try increasing the null zone for your rudder axis (try something high-ish first to be absolutely sure your pedals a...

Re: Taxiing

I actually captured a short video https://youtu.be/dpEhyWyKW6U So the weather on default weather engine is 2 gusting 3 and light turbulence. After releasing the brake, i do not touch the rudder pedals, at all. First you notice small turn to right, then more violent etc. This is what it does for me. ...

Re: Taxiing

This right bolt is surprising to me, I never encountered it, neither in P3D nor in FSX. Applying power gets the a/c to start moving slowly and without any sudden movement. Did you try taxiing without any Wx addon? Do you use rudder pedals? I have no weather addons installed, i have very very light ...

Re: Taxiing

Hi Scott, thanks for reply. I tried it immediately i saw your post. I find the modification much better. But still not as good as the Comanche, but i understand that these planes are diffent IRL too. But i also kind of like your Cherokee on the ground, eventhough it is very keen to turn, but it feel...

Taxiing

I must be honest here, i am not very pleased how the Bonanza behaves on the ground... first of all for me it jolts violently to right always (no other a2a plane does this), but it feels there's no inertia at all. The power management is unintuitive, and when i steer the plane it turns like it has no...

Re: Poll - what engine are you flying with?

I haven't tried the 550 yet... But generally i always choose the option for least horsepower and least speed. I never use any devices that reduce drag, apart from wheel covers due to their looks =)) I am low and slow guy, bonanza and comanche aren't exactly my kind of planes but i love how they fly ...

Re: No gear lever option in input configurator

I'd still want to bind my Gear up and gear down for a separate button.... stock FSX only supports for cycle gear up/down...? You can use any button of your hardware by assignment via the Simulator's Options (FSX or P3D). The "G" key is also assigned by default. Do you still need more? I say it agai...
